Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v 12

I’m meant to be going to Tenerife for Christmas with the family and I really want to recover so I can enjoy it, it’s horrible when you can’t put into words to the people you love how much this has affected you and your life and they just think you’re lying or doing nothing with your life, it’s so shit man
 
Does anyone have any recovery stories they could send to me, I have a few but I’ve read them like a 1000 times now, anything would help keep me going

I’ve spoken to several people and the consensus is 1.5 years zombie 0.5 years recovery and thats for those that recover, it’s rough do you feel completely empty in your mind? Like it feels like a lead block in your forehead? Do you struggle with talking about anything except the medication? Sadly some never recover even off a couple shots and hose stories scare me because I’m literally like them but some have anxiety and depression i dont have any bodily feelings whatsoever, no anxiety no stress which sounds good but it’s not because when it’s missing it’s terrifying in its own was because thats full cns blockage.. no adrenaline no sleepiness, no thoughts spontaneously coming into my head at all, I can type better than I can talk and the world jist seems flat and pointless without any feedback, literally walking in circles all day for 7 months it’s freaking me out.. it’s really just you recover or you don’t I think but I can’t imagine how anything is going to come back online at this point it feels hopeless but still, the days go by and we wait

Yeh man I know what you mean I’m exactly the same as you, all quiet inside my brain and body, no anxiety or tiredness no feelings of adrenaline, all I talk about is the medication to my mum and even then I’m moving out in 3 days which is good I suppose but I can’t talk about anything else, thanks for letting me know the time frame man, I’m 3.5 months off the injections now so it could take longer and I’ve heard that it’s just a sudden recovery like one minute nothing and then the next everything comes back in one moment so all we can do is just wait for that tbh, I don’t know how you’ve done it for 7 months man you’re strong for that so keep going, I never knew something like this existed until they put me on it and it’s the worse thing to ever happen to me fr

Where abouts are you from? Have you been able to get disability since being on?
 
it feels sometimes it's getting stronger 14 months and 6 days is that possible? maybe i have brain damage? what if they did a real lobotomy on me while I'm sleeping in the hospital? i don't feel I'm gonna heal something is wrong i feel i was shot in the head with a shotgun.

They had me on Seroquel and Invenga when I was in 5th grade its honestly just as bad besides the growing boobs part. They had me on the Invega in the morning and the Seroquel at night evil as shit.
