Trigger Warning Cocaine, septum damage

I think my septum is starting to get pretty beat up like this is the cartilage right? Any guesses on how bad this? I haven't been bleeding too much honestly until a day or two ago. Anyone remember how long it took them to get from this stage to perforation?

The real question is are you going to stop if you get a bad answer? Because then you should probably heal either way

Its a very individual thing - how much you are doing, how frequently, what purity, what specific cut is used. Then there is your individual reaction to vasoconstriction, etc.

It could be a half inch hole in a month, it could not perforated for a couple years, hard to say.
 
Was using about 2 grams a day for a month straight so I was just surprised by how fast it happened. My plan was to do other drugs yesterday for a while regardless cuz of how much it costs to do this. Should I have been using more saline or something? How long for this to heal?
 
wow. those pictures are pretty gross.

i would tread lightly with that. once you mess up your nose to that degree, it's not repairable without surgery. stevie nicks is a really good example.

yep. i had a friend who sold coke and cut it with baby powder. that shit built up in my sinuses and caused the WORST sinus infection i've ever had. any substance that isn't absorbed by your body is gonna be a problem. your body starts building up defenses to protect itself from further damage. don't forget, right behind your nose is your brain. take it seriously.
but like someone already said, it's a personal thing. when you will decide the risk and damage outweigh the pros.
 
Hmm I thought this was possibly mild at best. I showed my family and I was like "maybe we should see a dr or idk an ENT?" But my mom doesn't think it's anything and it's hard to see so my sister doesn't seem concerned either. Hmm maybe this a problem even tho no hole yet. I guess I might be close if this just changes color. Ah but I still have 2 left before I wanna quit. I guess I'll have boof it

or smoke or another ROA. i would stay away from your nose for a little bit. let it heal.

Yes, that is obvious inflammation, scarring, and the beginning of septum corrosion. If you don't want to end up looking like Artie Lange (his nose), please practice some urgent harm reduction and at the very least switch ROAs, preferably not IV, or altogether stop using cocaine or switch drugs at least. This is your body serving you legal warnings to stop snorting stuff. Listen to your body, it neither lies or bluffs.

If you need motivation just google some medical gore about cocaine septum corrosion. It will ruin your face FOREVER unless you're celeb rich and can afford a several massive plastic surgeries (which insurance absolutely will not cover...). I've seen some rich chick go through those surgeries, its not pretty or pleasant either and basically had tubes coming out of her nose in between surgeries making discretion impossible.
