I once ingested ¼ of a Zoloft ~20 min. after ingesting harmine. The fact that everyone says not to do that made me think that a substantial but safe reaction could be harnessed from that combo and boy was I right. Neither of those substances have that MDMA-like effect on their own. And that's why when I read this comment, I had no doubt that the person wasn't exaggerating:

Bifemelane is an MAOI and kanna is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor and releaser.

Because in mental depression, new approaches could also combine both MAO inhibition and serotonin reuptake inhibition to increase extracellular 5-HT concentration at the synapses. Also, I fixed the formatting at the bottom of the post.

Thats pretty risky imo. Trying ketamine or methylphenidate for depression would be alot safer id think. Granted i wouldnt rule this out as a last ditch option if nothing works
