Or am I remembering this incorrectly?
I'd suggest to only do such a thing if you really know what you are doing, as there is AFAIK potential for actual liver damage.
 
No! do not eat the seeds! see below. I started years ago with just 5 seeds in the recipe from LSA to LSI, then went to 10 seeds a month later, always start low. Baby steps.

Then went up to 40 seeds, then 45 seeds converted, absolutely incredible, my all time favorite psychedelic...and still zero side effects even at 45 seeds converted to LSI 2oz brew. The brew can even be frozen after made, and drunk weeks or months later after defrosting in fridge, drink cold, infinitely bad ass.

Well I tried about 11 seeds once of course without seed debris, and I still got pretty sick from it, but also pretty high lol.
I don't think I'll test what 45 will do, even if I follow your instructions.
It's just not convincing enough knowing what I know, having experienced what I have experienced y'know
 
I explain how to extract the pure LSA in 1 step if you go to post #1 and follow the link to mycotopia, no, you are not supposed to eat the seeds.

1 hbwr seed contains .04mg LSA per seed, 30 seeds is .04mg lsa x 30 seeds is 1.2mg LSA. Read post #1, the nauseating seed debris after being separated is thrown away...as the active 1.2mg LSA is extracted via 95% ethanol grain alcohol everclear extraction, then evaporated to leave the pure LSA extract, hence zero side effects as the LSA is then converted to LSI in 2 more simple steps.

Look, I don't know what to say. Maybe one day I will try this ancient LSA to LSI mission, but at the moment, there is just too much going on in my day to day life, to really study this topic as broadly as it seems one would have to do, to actually try this in a way where you feel safe about it. Idk


Edit: This made me wonder, could you maybe cite studies in which the actual amount of alcaloids and their respective names are listed (in HBWR seeds)?
