I never hit you back about my stash situation. It is a long time in the making. It goes back to 2004 If you want a picture Ill send you one
 
I want to report for the consensus that when I took the Adderall & oxycodone on the 2nd consecutive day. I had very minor heart pains that were intermittent, but never the less I felt it & it made me think maybe this combo isn't for me ?
It was a bit concerning but stopped as time went on.

Can I take Xanax after taking 6000 mg gabapentin, probably a death wish?
If you know please enlighten me. No rush not about to do that with out the proper advice.

My tolerance to Xanax is low but gabapentin is pretty high & it's not working lately since I've been using too much. Today I took 1900 mg of gabapentin & no Xanax. I was probably going to take a half of a.5 pill.
Just don't wanna drop dead or have respiratory depression. Coming off opiates RN & my mind & body are reeling.

I feel so much better , I took a half of a .5 & smoked a joint & took some edible THC oil. It definitely took the doom mindset away & the uneasy rls feelings.

How long were you on the opiates for, big doses?

Wow, it's been since 2010 when I had lived with a hot waitress who had a ton of connections to drugs, we started taking pills together & had the time of our lives.
I was a hustler & made about $150k a year at the time. I had a full time job , a retail shop, online sales, & sold marijuana.
We traveled all around the world getting high. We eventually broke up. I got hurt at work & got a prescription of oxycodone & Valium & did that from 2012 -2019. I also purchased as many oxycodone as I could find. Some people hated me because I took all the available pills from our local black market. I was a mild addict, taking about 60-100mg per day, then taking Suboxone & Valium if I ran out.
I quit about 3 times from 2019 to present with about 9 months with no monkey on my back. I used sparingly but I landed back in the same boat. Especially when my dad had went into the hos with a heart surgery & I was there every day for weeks with him advocating & arguing with the doctors who wanted to give him Remdesivir & I knew the bad reputation of that drug. They tried to discredit me but I persisted & got it taken off his med list.
I was so stressed & started using again & also experimented with 7-oh , that nasty shit. Right now I was clean for about @0 days , just gabapentin, then I used 2 days in a row , stopped for 2 days , used last Saturday while betting the Kentucky Derby, then I have been on gabapentin for 4 days now with that kindling aspect bringing me back to an unbalanced state of mind & body. So I think if I can get 4-5 more days with no oxy, I can stop the gabapentin & I planned to switch to magnolia bark extract & low dose Xanax if needed.
What do you think?

Well, first up I want to know if you had any luck with the gee-gees? I've only been to the races once. It was a good day out. In the UK we do a lot of dog racing. That a thing where you are?

Secondly, I think that's a solid plan, my man. Hopefully you'll stick to it.

That's quite a story indeed. Sounds like a fun lifestyle. I've done a few things in my time too. Ultimately just to find my own habits, really. But that sounds like fun.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. These things are really fucking stressful. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to get through and look after your loved ones.

I don't think you need to worry about kindling too much with the gabapentin judging by the doses and duration. But maybe get through the next 4-5 days like you say then just taper off the gabapentin first. If you're using benzos during this period I would try and switch to a longer acting one like diazepam if you can. Then taper that off last keeping the duration of use as short as possible to avoid problems. But yeah sounds like a good plan. Good luck to you friend. Also never underestimate the benefit of beta blockers which can help control some of the uncomfortable cardiac symptoms during withdrawal.

Thank you, I like the respectful nature of this site & I appreciate the advice.
Unfortunately I lost on the Kentucky Derby
& Dog racing was here but was recently banned due to pressure from pet advocacy groups unfortunately. I've been a few times but I love horse racing best.

Nice to meet you. My favorite iggy pop song right now is " high on you" but there are many I like. My first favorite was " lust for life" the 1st time I heard it. Saw him in Boston in 2017 with Queens of the Stone Age backing him.
& Yeah opiates are a dichotomy of heaven & hell all in one pill or powder or whatever.
I just can't seem to totally stay away after getting clean several times.
Gambling, well that is hard to stay away from too, seems I have a compulsive disorder? I only do live poker & horse racing though. Those are the games I like and do best at.

Is GABAPentin really that good? I always assumed it was just a mid drug since it's not controlled.
