Also, some reports indicate that kratom + German chamomile are synergistic.
G. chamomile =
  • Matricaria recutita
  • Matricaria chamomilla
The effect of Matricaria chamomilla on the development of morphine dependence and expression of abstinence was investigated in rats. The frequencies of withdrawal behavioral signs (paw tremor, rearing, teeth chattering, body shakes, ptosis, diarrhea, and urination) and weight loss induced by naloxone challenge were demonstrated in morphine-dependent rats receiving M. chamomilla extract or saline. The withdrawal behavioral manifestations and weight loss were inhibited significantly by chronic co-administration of M. chamomilla extract with morphine. Administration of a single dose of M. chamomilla before the naloxone challenge in morphine-dependent animals abolished the withdrawal behavioral manifestations.
These results suggest that M. chamomilla extract inhibits the development of morphine dependence and expression of abstinence syndrome.

G. chamomile contains a few psychoactives including Apigenin (GABA) and bisabolol (GABA).
Over 120 constituents have been recognized in chamomile essential oil, where α-(−)-bisabolol, chamazulene, β-farnesene, bisabolol oxides A and B, and α-bisabolone oxide A are the most important ones

No idea if it’s actually placebo but I drink chamomile tea bags with my cups of black tea, one bag of each when I make a tea, I’ll steep for about 5 minutes.

Generally have less drug cravings and makes me feel more relaxed and aids my ADHD symptoms.

Black Tea, Chamomile, CBD CBG heavy cannabis works for me.. and I have periods of using stimulants or opioids, but this is enough to not need any.

That would line up with it's various components including apigenin:
...apigenin is a ligand for the central benzodiazepine receptors exerting anxiolytic and slight sedative effects but not being anticonvulsant or myorelaxant.

I once made a tea with 20g of chamomile flowers, drank the tea and ate the solids. This caused stimulation, mild euphoria, and an interesting sort of dissociation. I would assume that the apigenin caused the dissociative effects. I recently bought an apigenin supplement and want to start out with a dose of apigenin that is comparable to or larger than the approximate amount of apigenin in 20g of german chamomile flowers. Yesterday I decided that a dose of 500mg would be a good starting point. The effects were felt in half an hour. There was mild sedation, a mild head high, and a nice mood lift. I also noticed mild anxiolytic effects that were very apparent to me since I have always had problems with social anxiety.
The most interesting effect that I noticed was that my movement felt a little sloppy yet my coordination was still fully intact. This is an effect that I have found to be common among other NMDA antagonists especially low doses of DXM, high doses of chamomile flowers, and high doses of cat's claw.
The effects were mild but definitely not placebo. It wasn't as strong as chamomile flowers either, but the flowers contain a lot more than apigenin.
...I have a high natural tolerance to everything (I need 20g of chamomile flowers to feel the stimulation).
...
Last week end I took a dose of 1000mg apigenin. The effects were similar to 500mg but stronger. It was more sedative and had a longer duration (about 8 hours). The anxiolytic effects were much stronger though. I am generally introverted and not very social. After taking the apigenin I almost felt a need to be around people. It was almost empathogenic but not quite. I still felt somewhat uneasy in my interactions.
