There are several reasons why I haven't done Meth, and they are all covered in this very well researched video. This guy is good!
It's very timely* that I found this just last night, as I've recently found potential sources for meth, and was a little tempted.
But I have now been reminded, (very conveniently, at just the right time *,) and can clearly see where using meth could so easily lead, and this video is an excellent objective overview imho. There's no sensationalism or scaremongering, the guy is actually pro-drugs, and a user, you can tell, but of course he can't make that too blatant and obvious, because of youtube's rules.
The positives are also covered, without glamorising the drug, and they worry me just as much as the negatives. They explain why Meth could be so extremely addictive, and quitting could be very difficult, and I am aware of my potential vulnerabilities in this case. And the issue that I may well like the drug far too much, is perhaps my major concern.
A knowledgeable, fair, and balanced, picture is presented; something which is becoming far too rare these days in all forms of media coverage and reporting.
* (This is a side note, and I didn't want it to detract from the main points of my post, and it may or may not be true, and may or may not be paranoia, but I'm getting the impression that "The Algorithm" may be tracking your online viewing, because sometimes it seems to take into account what you've been viewing online earlier that day, even if it wasn't anything on youtube, but it does seem to me, to have taken that into account when presenting you with it's latest selection of videos.
I've noticed this a couple of days running now. It must be more than a coincidence!? And although I don't approve on privacy grounds, I can't deny that it is very convenient. But for my online security I really should look into what permissions may be causing this, and look to get those disabled. Or at least look into whether youtube is actually doing this, and whether it is even capable of doing so. I don't even use Google or Chrome as my search engine, so there shouldn't be any direct links via my Google account or anything like that, as there may well be if I was using those search engines on a Chromebook 'budget laptop' where you have to sign into your Google account to use the machine!? I haven't been using a Chromebook for some time, so it's not that!)
