Lysergamides nbomes in tested lsd?

so I dropped 2 tabs of what should be lsd yesterday which I tested beforehand with an Ehrlich reagent. I also tested for fent on multiple samples from the sheet all negative. now the odd thing is the reagent test was definitively purple and the right shade for lsd, yet the tabs taste bitter which all advice says is a sign of nbome content. I have taken the same dose from the same sheet before without any ill effects I just now thought to inquire about this though. is it possible the paper just has something bitter in it? has anyone else had tabs that should be lsd according to a test but nonetheless tasted bitter? it doesn't taste metallic, sour, or chemically, nor is it numbing. just bitter. I have never intentionally tried what I knew to be nbomes so I cant really reference it against any experiences with nbomes. the tabs are also unmarked white paper squares so no art which would necessitate ink that might be bitter.

NBOMe/NBOH-type compounds taste very metallic and are numbing. If you ever had those, you'll be very sure. However, just testing with Ehrlich if you safely want to rule out DOx or 25x-NBOx compounds is not enough. Ehrlich just tests for the presence of indoles. It would be easy to load a tab with some NBOMe and add a bit of some tryptamine to fool the test. I don't know of such a case, but I do know of a tab that tested positive with Ehrlich and was later determined to be 1P-LSD + tryptamine. 1P-LSD has a slow reaction to Ehrlich and I suspect whoever laid the tabs put tryptamine on it so that people would think it is real LSD if they tested with Ehrlich. Now there are worse things than selling 1P-LSD as LSD but the same could have been done with more sketchy compounds. So best practice to run multiple reagents next to Ehrlich which rule out the presence of phenethylamines.

Realistically I would not worry about your tab containing an NBOMe though, one definitely tastes the battery + feels the numbing.

ok good to know I guess I will have to get a few more reagents. I doubt what I got was any sort of DOx because the body load was honestly milder than shrooms with maybe 2 briefly unpleasant side effects, I think I felt a tiny bit nauseous for a minute or so and I had a muscle cramp for a few minutes but I also didnt drink quite as much water as I could have, I have tried 2ct-2 before and the body load is quite unpleasant so if the DOx compounds have a reliably greater body load that avenue if pretty unlikely. Do you know if any of the substituted lysergamides like allad, ethlad, and 1c-lsd have a bitter taste? I wouldn't be surprised if it was such a compound nor would I particularly mind.

Hello asap1

As far as I know the LSD analogs didn't have a bitter taste besides the blotter ink

makes sense. Also a new developement I may or may not have had the lsd in a ziplock that previously had mxe in it so it could have trace amounts of mxe I was tasting.
