I bought some heroin from the same online vendor that I bought some coke (the coke is good). I'm over 40, I've been on and off the wagon a few times. I know I shouldn't do it and that it that could be the end of me. I've preached to people about alcohol and cocaine in meetings, sobriety is truly the cleanest drug, noone knows that more than me. I love being sober and am a pious bastard who looks down on the likes of me, but I also love relapsing. I love it when I have made an absolute arse of everything and need to pick myself up out of the shit. I have it here, the heroin, while I'm drunk and high on cocaine. I have two cousins who died of smack and another who died from cocaine due to an old injury to his heart from being stabbed. I know the risks, I'm looking for harm reduction tips. I'm going to try this smack but I want to do it without dying, my parents rely on me as they're both disabled. I've tested it twice for fentanyl with one of those covid type kits and both came back negative. I don't mind smoking it or sniffing it but wont be jaggin it. Tried uploading an image but this site seems a bit anti privacy so I'm just going to leave this as a text post. Appreciate any knowledge
 
I'm sure you know cocaine and heroin interact in a somewhat unpredictable manner and that cocaine and alcohol interact in a somewhat unpredictable manner.

I'm totally with @paranoid android on the need to weight but I really would advise caution. We kind of understand how two medicines can interact but more than two and frankly, nobody really knows. When it's some undefined powder, who knows anything?

I've never enjoyed something less because I waited before taking it. So if you are having a good time, consider that it could go either way if you mix more stuff into it.
 
Oh fuck if your speedballing be goddamn careful. I have never done heroin but i have speedballed with dilaudid and morphine and you have to cut the ammount of opiate you need drastically. Coke and also amphetamine greatly potentiate opiates. Not potentiate in the way antihistamines or benzos do either no as in this rush is almost to much im gonna die potentiate

Even oral codeine feels good on coke
 
I have 0.01 scales . How would I weigh a tinfoil smoke or a small snort for a first time, on the most cautious side. I read a matchstick head, would I be safe to snort or smoke that amount?

Yes Diamorphine is heroin.

I used heroin for 5 years & never weighed out my dose or anything. And I never overdosed or even felt in danger. The key is to start incredibly small.

Some one with no tolerance to opioids at all should start with a match-head sized bump of powder & see how you feel after 10-20 mins. This can save you too in case it's not actually heroin & is fentanyl or something more potent.

The only time I did feel like I was in danger was the first time I was given fentanyl. I knew it didn't look or smell like normal heroin, so I did the tiniest bump possible & just that small bump had me nodding so hard I thought I was gonna pass out & die. Heroin nods never felt like that.

But using a scale is wise. Heroin gets a bad rap as a "killer drug", but more people die annually from alcohol & tobacco in the US than they do from heroin or opioids.

Using cocaine with heroin does double the risks though. I would just save the heroin for when you're out of coke cause you're gonna wish you had it then. The problem lies with the cocaine covering how sedated you might actually be & when it wears off, the heroin could hit you all at once & cause an OD.

Most of the time people OD by taking waaay too much or mixing it with other drugs when they have no tolerance or experience. If you have no opioid tolerance, you only need little bumps every couple of hours, if not longer than that. Good heroin can keep a person with low to no tolerance high for a good 4-8hrs before needing to redose.

I don't know much about smoking heroin though, as I've only ever used rocks & powder.

Well Afghan smoking heroin is. As the name suggests, it's the freebase so injection would require citric acid or vitamin c (ascorbic acid). But beware. While the mean purity is 'only' 78%, I've never known what that other 22% is. Could be 3 and 6 monoacetyl morphine, could be plain morphine. But people don't smuggle cut so I assume at least at wholesale level, it could ALL be actives - a mixture.

I've talked to people who have injected both white and brown and they always seem to prefer brown. But it's anyones guess what is in a random powder.

I actually forgot why I joined this forum to post in the first place. I have took kratom for pain for the last 2 years, when I first got a hold of it I was taking a lot of codeine a day. I was crushing co-codamol and filtering it with coffee filters, codeine is water soluble while paracetamol is not. I fell over a banister in my 20s, fell 10 feet and landed on my head. So the disks in my neck are fucked, it's just a nerve sandwich between 2 neck bones. Kratom has been SO powerful and medicinal it's unreal. I was taking so many codeine tablets with SO much paracetamol... my liver/kidneys would be struggling to function by this stage. When I first ordered Kratom I understood it used the same receptor as other opiates, so it would cancel the effect. I was also drinking a lot of poppy tea at this time. So I quit co-codamol and poppy tea for kratom which removed my pain. I now work a physical, manual job which destroys my body but I dont feel it. The alternative is I dont work and be a useless cunt who complains about pain.

That was a coke fueled rant. Does anyone know if being a long term kratom user would interact with heroin ?

Have you been currently taking kratom? If not, then it shouldn't.

If you've had clean time in between your last usage of kratom or codeine, you're probably basically back to being opioid naive, tolerance-wise.

Kratom is actually a pretty weak partial agonist, but by taking it long term, yea you would have built up a slight opioid tolerance. I've never personally found any pain relief or enjoyment from kratom, but everyone's body is different.

If you have chronic pain, heroin is probably going to be incredibly alluring & addictive for you though. I love heroin because it's the only thing that's ever helped my depression & fibromyalgia pain. Although I haven't had any in several years now because my dealer went to prison & everything became fentanyl.

I've been taking about 30g of kratom a day for the last couple of years, I've not taken any opiates since I started taking kratom, other than kratom. From what I read at the time, other opiates would cancel the kratom out. I was diagnosed with adhd in my early 30s, so the stimulant effect of kratom gave me a little chill buzz (relaxed me), so I have abused it in a way. I have chronic pain and chronic fatigue, both mostly results from having several traumatic brain injuries, adhd dudes tend to have a lot of brain injuries. I try to remain stoic. My mum has fibromyalgia, I know how you struggle with unreasonable and random pain in an unempathetic world. I'm from a cold country entering winter and every part of me aches. I have the weekends and I'm going to explore and enjoy myself. I have self control. I know I know nothing about what I speak, but I'm going to try and either conquer or fail
