If drugs were of sufficient purity..

I will always dream of the days H was H in the US. Not 100% purity but very few inactives compared to now.

What if --- Well than we could all safely dose using our scales. LSD may still be tough

Don't know nothin' about purity...ain't got access anymore to street stuff, don't buy online also...stick to pharmaceuticals-mainly Pregabs and what I could find in the nature

You tried DS 3.0 tho?
Admittedly not, but I haven't had acid for some time now as it just hasn't entered my orbit. I just remember all the needlepoint Swiss Bliss whatever type stuff never seemed to have any tangibly 'better' or 'cleaner' effect than the manky old tabs procured from Mad Roger in the back room of the Jolly Carter.

I'm prepared to be wrong with DS 3.0, but I never believed most of the bullshit around the acid scene.

I had plenty of excellent lsd circa mid 80's- early 2000's alongside some that gave a heavier bodyload than I'd have chosen and (on one single occasion) feelings that I would never have associated with lsd previously (. Of course I never saw labtest results (or even reagents) for those so I can't be certain what was what.

I've consumed some in the last 10 years which (I've been extremely reliably informed via a super-trusted source who happened to be an highly ethical longtime friend) were produced by the two most famous modern-day chemist crews. I personally found blotters containing the DS.3 to be awesome lsd 100%, hell yeah, it had a noticeably "clearer headspace" than any I'd tried before granted, but still most definitely easily identifiable from experience as lsd and not a completely new drug at all...but I can see where Issy is coming from regardless

(edit - I definitely think purity makes a difference though as opposed to what someone posted above - as it does with everything ime)

the jolly carter Eh @Perkins : Reborn ? The Droylsden one? If so I've had a few jars in there (ages ago now though) Never met Mad Roger tho!

Hope you preferred the Half Way House.

Fucking hell. I name a random Droylsden pub and someone recognises it!
I'm intrigued now.

The closest the 'Honest Places' guy on youtube who likes rough pubs in rough areas has got so far is Ashton.

I might ask him to check out Droylsden and the Jolly Carter and Halfway House, if they are still there, and still open?

He's definitely been around this guy, but ooof if Droylsden and it's pubs are anything like the nearby areas of Openshaw (before all the rows upon rows of deserted and bricked up terraces presumably got knocked down,) Harpurhey, Miles Platting, Abbey Hey, then I have no words. The expression "Rough as toast" is really nowhere near expressive enough as to how bad these areas are. :|

Could also give Billy Moore a shout, he may be up for wandering around and checking out the local "characters"

He did one on Moss Side the other week. Although he didn't name any street names, I recognised a lot of the streets, he deliberately picked the very worst ones to show, and there were also several suggestions as to what certain people hanging around were probably up to.

Half Way House is still open, but it's an honest pub, and nothing 'rough'. Just respectable working class, but well worth a visit.

The Jolly Carter is still open and I can't reliably vouch for it, but it's probably still shite.

Also, I lived in Openshaw for eight years. It WAS that frightening.

First male rape case (as opposed to ABH) happened right outside our house. The victim jumped through the glass of the window to get away.

And I once saw a traveller ram lampposts to load them on his wagon.

One night, we couldn't get weed. I tried out the story that the tabloids put out about it being easier to get heroin than weed. Half an hour later? Heroin.

EDIT: Bonus - the police helicopter was called The Openshaw Moon, and boards over the windows were called Openshaw Curtains.

Have you had it? It definitely has a unique 'flavour' somehow

Yeah. Doesn't feel any "cleaner" than the other acid I've had, on aggregate. Sometimes you have a "cleaner" trip but I have this down to other variables than LSD quality. Individual trips of the same acid will produce varying experiences, including perceptions of "cleanliness", body load, etc. Especially if you have it in your head that this particular acid is particularly clean. Set (psychological and physiological) & setting.

Even when I know it's the same acid at the same dose, the trips are subjectively different enough for me that the only variable related to the acid and not to my person I consider to be relevant is LSD dosage.

Yeah I kind of agree, but definitely noticed that crystal producing a very 'clear' headspace as opposed to other lsd I've had at a similar dose (and I had no preconceptions as knew nothing about it 1st time other than mate telling me it was the bomb) so...shrug

Theres no bodyload with DS 3.0 - with every other acid you get that shitty headache comedown.

I think if you tidy the house it makes for a cleaner trip. I always make sure I clear my shitten y-fronts from under the couch.

nah, I've only ever had a headache comedown once iirc

you should be their cheerleader!

edit - for some fucking reason I thought I was ok to pop into the supermarket about 7 hours into a ds3 trip- I was incorrect! (but the situation was soon recovered)
