Hellllllloooooo....okay that was obnoxious LOL. Anyways, I am a more spiritually oriented person than religious. I love collecting tarot cards, and the various oracle decks that revolve around growth, self-discovery & aligning myself with my own intuition. I have been studying some cards that are based on Jungian archetypes, and the meanings behind them and how they relate to spiritual growth. So far they are the absolute coolest deck I have ever owned. Anyways, I wanted to share my card of the day that I pulled for anyone who resonates.

The Forest
The forest is a concept that is both enchanting and terrifying. If you stumbled upon a vast forest in the middle of nowhere in the dark, you would likely be both curious and fearful. I like how the deck creator says "it requires you both enter it and get lost in it." She goes further to say that if you only wander around it in an hour, that wasn't a forest, it was a grove of trees. In order for it to be a forest, you have to be lost in it for one night. While we tend to feel like things should be easy---and that we should be able to follow a single path to get through our lives, our struggles and everything else, this is not the energy of the forest. Instead, we find ourselves lost on a path that really isn't a path, but rather a long stretch of briars, fallen trees, and possibly dangerous creatures. Inner-mixed with that, we find vast caves, peaceful waterfalls, and some of the most awe inspiring creatures among the living. This card indicates an adventure, and tells us that while there may not be any turning back, we can embrace the darkness and find our way through. Whether this forest is literal or in our minds only, there is something profound about the concept of getting lost, as we try to find ourselves.

As far as paths go whether surrounded by forest or within an urban setting there are always choices with consequences that prepare you for what has to come along your chosen path.
Most people cannot see their on a path until later in life when their past connects with the present. Every choice we make is a step on the path of our choosing.
Negatively and poor esteem limits our choices while positivity and a positive outlook on life creates more opportunities to choose from.

A person’s path is determined by want and need for survival, some people need more than others but we all have this in common.

That is interesting that you say that. I am a spiritual advisor and my clients are always wanting me to use tarot to tell them what they are going to do and what is going to happen. I always explain that the present is what leads to the outcome, and that in order to control the outcome ----they have to make the choice that leads them there. We all have free will. Some people don't like that thought. It is easier to make poor choices and blame it on an outside factor, such as God, fate, etc. I definitely agree that our choices come with consequences.

How did you become a spiritual consultant? I was lost and confused at some points of my life, but I figured things out on my own because no one knows me better than me. My dad was a southern Baptist preacher who many turned to for spiritual guidance according to his convictions he learned or gained from his interpretation of god

I on the other hand dismissed Christianity and faith overtime based on logic and reason. I have trouble believing in spirituality if linked with god. That is not to say spirits do not exist, it simply means I don’t understand their existence.

I don't really believe in God the same way most do, I more so feel like we are all connected into one consciousness through energy. And that mass of energy is God, if that makes sense.

That's a very nice way to describe that energy !!

💖

That was fire. 🔥 It really was. Nice. 🌻

Just curious what you think:

Why are the cards called the Tarot?

In the Rider/Waite or BOTA deck:

Why is the Fool Number 0 ?
Who is on Card no 9 of the major arcana? What is the individual's name ?
What do the Hebrew letters on the major arcana refer to?

OMG I never thought I’d see someone I relate to so much on this topic. The kind of (I hope I got this right) getting LOST. Testing the strength of your mental anchors.
I feel a strange urge pulling me for a dark high tech forest experience where I lose all the light I had in my life just to experience some dark visuals and/or getting so lost I can’t help myself.
Ideally not lose my mind and fall into the trap of categorizing bad or good experiences. I’ll make it better than ever.
BUT sometime’s beauty Is found in those frightening moments.

In my opinion type

I am happy to hear that you are resonating with it. I am going to post another one.

Today's general card reading
❤️

Instead of Tarot I used two of my favorite spiritually oriented decks: the Archetype & the Alchemy deck (both based on psychology, science and metaphysics.)

The Temple card signifies what we hold sacred and what we cherish, worship and hold dear in our heart.

When it arises, it urges us to re-examine what we are holding as sacred. In a world of consumerism and technology, it can become easy to lose focus on the spiritual and get tied to things like money, new fancy items we bought off Amazon or our phones.

The Ash card signifies a rebirth of sorts----it shows us witnessing the end of an era, but like the Phoenix
🐦‍🔥
, after a dark night of the soul, we must rise from the ashes. Endings and dark periods of loss, depression, constant struggle and isolation can leave you feeling hopeless.

However, in times of darkness, it is important to transmute the darkness into light- by rising from the ashes, and taking the opportunity to redefine ourselves and start a new chapter.

Perhaps we are holding on to things that are keeping us in the dark---and the Ash card is pushing us to challenge our beliefs, pick up our ashes, and trudge forward towards a life of purpose and alignment.

So what are you worshipping---what is your temple? What do you hold sacred? If your focus is on something that is no longer serving you, can you let go and change direction? How will you transmute your own darkness or dark night of the soul?
