Mental Health Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v. 10

How long did it take you to feel better?
I'd say a bit over a year. It wasn't like I woke up one day and didn't feel bad. It was more that I gradually became interested in doing things I used to like before getting fucked up by Invega.

Hi all,

I am new here and suffering immensely. I had 3 shots in total over the span of 2 months and am 3 months off. I was also on other meds.

My symptoms are:
- severe insomnia
- severe anhedonia
- agitation
- zombiefaction
- dpdr and dissociation
- tinnitus
- visual snow syndrome
- suicidal ideation

I saw @Nina2021 s posts and was wondering how she was doing? I‘m in the same boat as for lack of sleep.

I would love to hear about recovery stories 😔

Also how is Franzy doing he also suffered quite immensely? I‘ve read posts from 2021-2023

I forgot to say i am also completely infertile, no period ever since starting this poison.

Living like this is just existing not living, I am tortured 24/7

For some reason no one really interacts with new people. I'd say /r/antipsych has more actual info this is just people whining. Personally, I have been doing better at the 3~ month mark. I'll elaborate later.

I recovered almost 100%.

I am better person than before but there is still invega left in my body.

These days the recovery speed is faster than before.

you can ask me anything if you want.

I am at the 8 months off

Do you have any questions?

People who recover seem doesn't come back usually.

I used to come to this place every min when I was in severe distress but as soon as I enter around 6 month I recover and come here every hour just to check if there is any question going on.

There are some assholes who are in delusional state but there are people who are willing to listen when they are respectful to each other.

That's temporary, your period is very likely to come back.

It should get alot better. But also this shit has lasting effects. The severe anhedonia as an example does get better.

The agitation should get better to.

Cant speak for the others.

I want to hear from someone who was on the shot for a while, quit and eventually got to a point where they forget they were ever on it. That would help me feel better

@rawbanana i had 3 total, 3 months ago. I am only getting worse so far. Are/were you on other meds? And how old are you?
I also feel like I’m getting worse. I’ve heard the way the shot works is it keeps building up in your system for four months then around four months it starts to leave your system. I’m 28 and no I’m not on any other medication.
