Oh, so you were not on any of the other medication then? When I was taking MDMA I was only using quetapine quetiapine in relatively low dosage as sleeping pill.
That could definitely be a factor. I also have a very fast metabolism and many drugs do not work for me or I need higher doses. Many drugs also do not last as long as they should. Hyperactive cell pumps are pretty common in people who struggle with OCD.As in last answer. I was told by psychiatrists that maybe so many antidepressants didn't work for me because I can have fast metabolism. Maybe it also applies for drugs![]()
That’s pretty young! Although you’re going through your Saturn return now which is often a difficult time (and last a few years). It’s a transformative period in which we typically undergo large structural changes to our lifestyle. If you’re interested in astrology, I can take a look at your chart in PMs.I'm 29
That all sounds great! Do you get much animal protein? Some people with treatment resistant depression benefit from the carnivore diet. It’s something to consider, at least. And eating a lot of fatty fish or high-quality fish oil is very therapeutic for all types of mental illness. Getting the right type types of fats in the right ratio is crucial for brain health. A new essential fatty acid was also recently discovered, C15. Goat cheese is a great way to get it.I try to focus on eating healthy. Some days I eat mediterrean diet because there are studies that it helps with depression.
I walk quiet a lot but I plan to add cycling to it. When I'm gonna be after inguinal hernia operation it will be easier to do more sports - Acro yoga, gym.
I don't have a work. Last months I was focused on getting better from depression. Now I try to aim to have meaningful work/activities.
I feel valued. I was valued also when I was depressed but I was unable to feel it even that I have so many episodes and I knew that outside of episodes especially I felt valued. I have close friends.
How long have you been on them? If your medications are helping you that much and you can’t function without them then I agree that going completely off them is probably not the best idea. Do you know exactly which medications are helping you and which are not? Often doctors prescribe multiple medication together which makes it difficult to know which medications are actually necessary. If you’re not sure that a medication is helping you or you suspect that it is definitely not helping you, you might at least discuss switching to a less toxic alternative.Maybe what I'm doing is worse than what you suggest but I'm gonna stick to my antidepressants until I'm gonna feel bad or until longer time of feeling good. This is also I think what would suggest my doctor. I have no year for 15 years without months being taken by depression. It affected a lot my jobs, businesses, relationships.
Are you finding it helpful?Yes, I'm in one now. Under certified psychotherapists
