whoa, my broker just got rid of commissions and made journaling shares easier

this must be what larry fuckin fink feels like
 
What broker you use? I'm on Questrade, I don't think they have a US presence. Was mulling over trying Interactive Brokers for options but now the cost is about the same so probably not gonna bother

Well that didn't work out. Got stopped out right after open today then it dropped even more but I can't buy it back for 30 days because it'll be a wash trade

Wanted to hold it for a data presentation on Friday but set a stop loss in case the data was bad and I get lucky and it doesn't just gap down over the stop loss. So much for that plan
 
Yeah the only time I use them is for biotechs that are about to report new data, because I've been lucky a few times where the stock didn't get halted for news and the data wasn't good but my shares sold like 15 seconds before it dropped another 20% or whatever
 
PLTR barely made a new 52w high today and has been pulling back since then. Feels like it's finally time to short it. PLTD is 1x short so that feels pretty safe and I don't need to deal with borrowing shares
 
52w high again for PLTR. Really want to short it but gonna wait for it to make a big potential top candle

Find a bubble and short it with options. "AI" quantum computing stocks like RGTI and IONQ seem ripe
