about 8 weeks ago i had a one off hit, i iv'ed some speed, i used some of this guys personal water supply that he takes around with him so he can have a hit where ever he wants, im mad worried coz here in the uk about 50 percent of iv users have hepititis plus as u should no by now it can only take an invisible amount of blood to catch hep, u might say, well, if your that worried why do it in the first place, well, thats a bit of a long story, but i basicaly felt dominated into not asking for a fresh glass of water, thats how these cunts made me feel !!! fuckers are'nt they even if this was intentional or not to make me feel scared.
Even though i no you have to wait 3 months( some people say 6), to be sure you have not got any thing i got a test done last week (7 weeks after), it came back negative to every thing,so, is there a good chance im gonna be ok? i dont no what the fuck to think, im already depressed like fuck, just dont no if i can handle much more suffering, doom and gloom, and general head fuckery.
SHIT SHIT SHIT :X

i just hope you dont think im bening over the top, i genuinely am very worried,
am not wasting time, and would really apreceate some help here.......................

i guess the problem is i just dont no these guys well enough to no they are safe with needles, they just might not no it takes only particles of blood for you to get infected. I will see a doctor soon, thanx for your post!

HIV would be dead within seconds in the water, it is not transmissible in that environment,
HIV needs pretty particular set of circumstances to spread, it is not easy to catch(although sharing needles is one particular way it can easily spread, but im assuming you used a clean/new needle)

I don't really know about HEP-C I know it is a lot more resilient, than the extremely delicate HIV, but personally i would say you could fairly well trust the results of your test to be the same when you retake it after the recommended waiting period.

We can't tell you, unfortunately. You'll simply need to be retested after 6 months and see what your results are then. The chances are probably pretty low, but even low odds means that SOMEONE gets the short end of the stick. It probably won't be you, but it could be you. I hate to not be able to give you a hug and a smile and tell you everything will be fine, but that's why you need to take charge of your safety. Everything involves risk, and you have to do what you can to minimize that risk.

I just did the same thing and I was a little worried but im not losing any sleep over it. I asked my friend if hes clean and he said he thinks he is. hopefully there wasnt any blood in the water. clearly it isnt as big of a risk as sharing needles.

I just needed some clarification. Are you suggesting that if the blood didn't hit the air and is decanted from a vessel then straight into your body this is
going to course hiv? Coz this happened to me but they say I just have hep c. ?????

Chances are you don't have anything.
Not sure how long you have to wait to be bested for hepatitis, but if you got it it would probably be Hep C which is EXTREMELY easy to cure.
It's 6 months for HIV, but again, it's very unlikely you have it. I'd try not to worry.

Hep C is NOT resilient. The cure is literally one pill a day for 3 months.

I caught hep c from using a dirty needle at a trap house. I rinsed it with warm water several times. I knew there was a substantial risk but to me in the moment, that was a better option than continuing to be violently dope sick. I'm lucky though, my body fought it off by itself and 6 months after having first been diagnosed, there was no measurable viral load

also would really like to no how long hep and hiv would live in water out side the body, thanx,
16 days on an inert surface….probably less in water

Hep C is now curable by the way.

I know how stressful you’re feeling. This stress is what made me put down the needle over 12 years ago and never do it again
