III think this needs to be said here. Psychedelics are not some magic fix everything solution and i think they should stop being treated as such. Can shrooms help PTSD, depression and other mental illnesses? Yes they can. However they are not a magical solution for everything. And honestly taking shrooms when you havent slept in days and have akathisia from anti-psychotics sounds like such a bad trip to me.

Shrooms can often cause bad trips if your not in the right mindset to take them. They tend to do this more then acid from what ive seen. Shrooms need to be treated with respect like all psychedelics. If your not mentally ready for then they can fuck you up

Im not saying this because i dont like psychedelics. On the contrary i currently have a 1/8th of blue meanies that im waiting to take. However i know they wont fix every little problem i have. They do help my trigeminal neuralgia and PTSD though.

That’s why I’m losing my mind because suffering is bad enough but not being able to sleep is the icing on the cake of suffering that’s why I truly do believe I’m in hell like IOSIP said I just want to be able to sleep again but I’m wide awake 247 I can’t take this anymore I never knew pain like this existed until I’m experiencing it right now

bro no joke i also didnt sleep for 1 week straight after taking an maoi. olanzapine gave me back my sleep but i oversleep.

I’m not getting akathisia and I am feeling suicidal because I’m in a lot of pain not being able to rest or sleep

Have you tried getting the insomnia treated? Trust me its very important to get enough sleep every night. People tend to lose it when they dont get enough sleep. I think thats why my shrink had no problem prescribing me zopiclone.

Both of these can be treated. Ketamine is mentioned as a treatment for anhedonia and i can see this working as taking S ketamine the summer greatly improved my mood even though i was not depressed.

As for akathisia that can also be treated. Have you tried the usual meds like benztropine and Propranolol yet?

Benztropine does nothing. And I'm asthmatic can't do propanolol. Trust me it's actually not treatable at this point.

It's always treatable you just havent found something that works. I self medicated my akathisia because i had no GP at the time and my shrink was on leave for awile.

I have asthma to
