The positive side of Trump getting voted on for the second time:
I'm now more in peace with the fact that China will replace the US as the most important super power.

I mean... 50% of you vote for someone who doesn't believe in man made climate change. We're fucked.

He believes in climate change. Otherwise he would have no reason to try for Greenland. He just beleives that the oligarchs will be able to thrive in spite of it. We're not really humans to the man.

@alasdairm , he's not even attempting to play the game. He has his sound bites and he just raises his voice until he's yelling tham back at the questioner. I think that he thinks he'll be like Kavanaugh, but he's such a mouth breather that he's not pulling it off.

during the debate trump claimed he'd end the war in ukraine before his inauguration:

"If I'm President-Elect, I'll get it done before even becoming president."

According to many of his followers, they think that what he says is hyperbole and not to be believed. They are so fed up with politics as usual that they demand entertainment instead of policy and actual progress.
It's similar to the violent revolution cadre that I was part of myself as an impressionable teenager. As I grew older , I saw that violent revolution didn't even have a 50% success rate for things being better thereafter. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss (or worse)
This, "Throw a hand grenade into the works and enjoy the show" attitude is even worse. You risk a final result after a violent revolution that is worse, but you also risk the powers that be obligingly putting on a show while they consolidate total power.

Hunger Games, anyone?

No, I would go read what I said about Democracy & why people can't moan about Trump playing "The Game" & winning.

My point is America has a very bad history of shooting their leaders, In the course of the history of the United States four Presidents have been assassinated, within less than 100 years, beginning with Abraham Lincoln in 1865. Attempts were also made on the lives of two other Presidents, one President-elect, and one ex-President.

Ye Gods Gerald Ford was shot by a member of The Manson Family over some Trees being cut down, how long you think Trump has before someone goes at him again? Someone has already filled a Tesla with fireworks & Petrol-cans a few weeks ago, this will be a few years that I'm glad for rolling news 24/7.

Well let me make it clear I am English, I have no Guns as I am English & have no desire to visit the USA.
I have NO desire to play the Game that most others play, these figures like Trump have no real Power or Control over anything, if his so Great let me see him do something cool like walking on Water or shoot Lasers out his eyes.

No one was trying to censor you, nor were you censored in any manner. Your post remains untouched with the picture intact.

It was a friendly warning for everyone that advocating for violence is not what we do here at Bluelight; as well a way of clarifying that you did indeed not want to incite violence. No one want's to change you, but neither do we want unwanted repercussions.

I firmly believe that since he knows he’s about to die that he wants to play the war gameszz

But not the “earn money for Raytheon” games of bombing harmless middle easterners with approval from Saudi’s and Iran. He’s gonna want to take over useful land (.ie not Afghanistan or Iraq) from small weak countries and calling the worlds bluff that they would do a damn thing about it.

I heard a coworker that I used to respect say that today, all grocery and gas prices will drop heavily. I mean... wtf man he must be retarded. Inflation ain't got much to do with the man in the White House. Gas prices are their own damn thing and inflation is too. Christ almighty.

It's very hard to achieve deflation without causing a recession. Then again, that's how Reagan cured Carter's inflation, a crippling recession. I had to move 1,000 miles away and stay with family for 3 years to keep working. My state had double digit unemployment for more than those years.
Anyway, the actual answer would be wages catching up.
