Misc Are darknet markets worth it?

Swedish police have started seizing packs like crazy, and I think I even hear about some new protocol they have in place where they can open any suspected drug package. For us here it isn't worth it in my opinion. Waste of money and you might even get a letter and experience some legal trouble. It's sort of insane, I know lots of people who've gotten letters from the police instead of a package they ordered, some have to pay fines, one got arrested (forgot what happened after) and some...nothing happens. I've also heard if you get a package seized they always test the substance, and if it is in fact a legal or unregulated drug (most RCs are illegal here but there's still a few that aren't) you don't have anything happen to you but still don't get the package I think. Swedish drug laws go crazy
Sucks to be Swedish. Is that just on international orders or domestic too?
International mostly, but I have heard of it happening to domestic orders. It seems to be way safer though judging by people I've talked to and stuff I've read. Personally, I've been eyeing this one site with HXE on it for months, it is domestic and sorta cheap and one dissociative I haven't tried yet. I'm just not sure if I want to risk having it seized and losing my money. HXE is still legal here, so nothing would come of it other than losing the money. Still risky

International orders are always going to be sketchy regardless of where you are. I get my 2cb overseas because it's a quarter of the price and I'm cheap but everything else I've always gotten domestically. Couldn't be doing with the worry.

I’ve been searching DNM’s for around a month now. Wanted to get 1-1.5 grams of crystal cause I just have no other methods. I’ve seen lots of places but I guess I’ve been a little weary to pull the trigger. Although I did try twice but either the sites were broken or I am just failing to understand how to use the bitcoin I’ve purchased.

I suspect may have fallen for a scam site or phishing link. Most markets don't accept Bitcoin these days and the ones that do are best avoided as in most cases it's no more anonymous than paying on a credit card.

Many markets including the largest/most popular one currently operating (which I can't name for obvious reasons) have purchasing guides onsite and forums which should answer any questions you may have.

Does your address being found on a darknet site present any legal issues if your house is clean? What are the woodentops going to charge you with? There's no offence of "ordering drugs from the darknet" is there? Even if the drugs are intercepted and they raid your house - if the house is clean and you keep your nerve and you've not left trails on your posts in bluelight..sure, they'll smash the door in and search the house but if your stash is 3 foot deep in the garden you're scot free. When they ask "Why are drugs being sentto your house?" just say "Fuck knows. Anyone can send drugs to anyone to get them in trouble"

They could (and do/have done) gone for conspiracy charges if they have any messages betrween seller and even potential buyer
they'd likely have to have more than an address to put your door in though
They put my door in for the stuff i ordered but i was never charged with any of that - just what they found in the house. As George Harrison said after being busted " I will never keep drugs in my house again"

there's no definitive answer I guess, they'll go for what they have best chance of convicting you with
I knew someone irl who got convicted on conspiracy charges due to unencrypted messages on a busted market. He was just a smalltime personal buyer too. Was a decade-ish ago now though
It was enough to put me off going down that route anyway, but then again I have no need to given my simple requirements
That's interesting - they did seize my computer and claimed I was "encouraging people to take drugs" by posting on bluelight. I just arched my eyebrow at him.

It's still up but the page hasn't been updated since June and the canary.txt just times out when I try to access it.
They don't need to know how drugs work. Just that they're bad and you should feel bad.

I can't see how it would but my house hasn't been clean since 2006 so I like to be careful. It's only ever the sloppy ones that get caught.
Markets have been seized in the past but this has only led to a handful of arrests. Why wouldn't law enforcement arrest every vendor to have ever used the market if they could?
They don't because they can't when all the evidence is encrypted and an anonymous currency like monero has been used. That's why you still have vendors around who have been in the game for a decade or more, and why others get busted after operating for less than a year.
Good OPSEC might not be strictly necessary for buyers most of the time but I'd rather be off the LE radar completely than just not worth bothering with.
Edit: im not sure burying your stash in the garden is such a great idea. Your neighbours might think you're a murderer.

Is that how you got caught? I can't stand these neighborhood watch arseholes. I've had neighbors call the police on me for vaping weed in my own garden before but nothing came of it fortunately.
Still stressful and demoralizing. If there's a problem just knock on my door and talk to me I mean geez it's 2024 people weed.
