I want to leave society more than try to fix what will always be broken. I got off that treadmill to nowhere.
There is this panicky desperation in the rest of your post. I think you could use some sand.
Yeah, and where do you think you're going to escape to? Covid demonstrated quite clearly what the problem is. We live in a global system now, you can't outrun this thing unless you want to live on an island like Vanuatu or an unstable poor African nation that the ruling class don't care about.
If you want security and a normal life, you are living in one the compromised first world nations, and it is absolutely no use pretending this stuff is going to go away. Calling it conspiracy or whatever does not change the facts, and the fact is your life
is going to be affected. Under the guise of 'the environment', or 'global health' (i.e. covid), they are enacting massive societal restructuring right now.
I know what you're saying and where you are coming from, but if you understood the nature of this thing you would be a bit panicky too. It doesn't matter if you live off-grid and are larping as self-sufficient or whatever, because when the hammer comes down you are still reliant on interacting with others for tools or whatever, and once they change the nature of the game it's going to disrupt that off-grid ecosystem as well. Everything is interconnected.
There is no frontier to escape to now, is the point. If freedoms get taken now, that's it. You're not self-improving yourself out of tyranny.
EDIT: Just to add, I
did give up a lot of interest in the conspiracy stuff between 2012-2020.. I went back to pretending, got a degree, a job, got very fit and healthy. Then covid happened. Like seriously man, people got cornered into taking a jab they didn't want to take because of threat of destitution, people lost businesses they built up over years, for the first time in my life I saw a man trying to commit suicide during lockdown..
I
want to live a normal life man. I get it. I know what you're saying. But pretending there isn't a problem when there is, is only going to cause more pain in the long run. Sometimes you have to face up to reality, as shit as it is.
