Meth and afterwards

I got back on meth after almost 3 years of sobriety with just a few relapses due to the fact even after all that time I was ridiculous tired all the time. Has anyone experienced this, and if so is there anything that will combat this? I hate this addiction, and want to be done completely but the alternative seems worse to me. So, if anyone can even point me in a direction that may save me from this life I would be forever grateful. I'm a good person, but when on meth I make retarded choices sometimes and this last time I lost the clients and company I worked 3 years to make in such a short time. I want to kick this drug that has stolen so much of my life, and finally be happy so please .......

Are you new to recovery? Ever been to an AA meeting? Ever been to detox or rehab?

What are we working with here? Where are we starting from?

This might seem like "no-duh" advice, but doing meth because you feel tired is like using a gun to scratch an itch on your nose. These are the weird excuses we come up with to trick ourselves into getting high again.

To be fair, meth is (usually) pretty effective at making you un-tired.

Guns also adequately scratch an itch, I think you missed my point with my attempted analogy.

The point is there are ways to deal with fatigue rather than relapsing on hard drugs and ruining your sobriety.

"Meth would make me more productive right now", may or may not be a true, but it doesn't matter when meth has already ruined OP's life and wants to get clean.
