2024 US Presidential Election

^ yeah. it also doesn't look great given her background.

legalizing drugs, to me, is a real obvious low-hanging fruit for the gop. small government, personal freedom, free-market capitalism, economic growth, deregulation, etc. it ticks a lot of classic right-wing boxes. but that war on drugs money, they can't leave that behind. and it doesn't play well with the family values and morality of the base.

i was disappointed obama didn't take more action on federal decriminalization of pot.

it's going to happen eventually. depending on what you read, 88% of all americans think it should be legal medically. about 60% think it should just be legal. i'm surprised it took this long for a candidate for president to embrace it.

In US politics the two parties use the few fundamental differences in the parties to split the voters., a voters absolute aversion and oposition to
"reproductive health care" or abortion could lead to them voting in some old fogy looking to be the first American Putin. Just a heads up to the unaware.. authoritarian governments don't traditionally support religion. They abolish it. You would know this if you were higher educated and studied history at a higher level. The American president has almost no control over the issues they bs on.. yeah sorry all those issues are not in their control. Trump is going to reduce our grocery bills... how how how?

Read the full article you're citing lol. He's still saying there were fine people amongst them. "On both sides" refers to no more or less than two sides. These "protesters" he refers to are the neo-nazis and white nationalists. The 'counterprotesters' are the actual protesters. He, much after rambling on, essentially says after saying 'and I do not mean the neo-nazis, and these people didn't apply that name to themselves, I mean the folks on their side who weren't white nationalists or neo-nazis.' Ohhhhh, so the saviors and supporters that fight alongside and uphold the nazis beliefs are fine people. Makes zero sense. He gets away with covering his half-ass after them rants because of gullible people like you.
Whaddaya call somebody who fights in support of nazi ideology?

Where's the audit of every single person there to determine exactly 100% of the people there were either neonazis and white supremecists? Media just says "trust me bro" or "anonymous sources familiar with the matter at hand."
If you want to fight for, alongside self-described racists and proud boys (gay ass name btw, lol), you're one of them. Also, if you're waving confederate and nazi flags (go to unite the rights Wikipedia page or literally anywhere to look at the pictures), that makes you a racist, and if you're doing it in America, you're not an American, or at least don't know what the fuck it means. We literally had wars over both of those things. And squashed them. And if you see a dude getting his ass beat for holding a swastika, let it happen, if you defend him, you might as well be him.

I can't believe Donald Trump actually agreed to do an interview/podcast with Theo Von. It's great, if you haven't watched it. Theo hilariously trolls him and pushes the limit.

He also interviewed Bernie Sanders.

Hmmm maybe she could've done that a month ago before she started hemorrhaging her lead in the polls.
Damn dude. Like, no matter what.
Anyway, she was a prosecutor and prosecuted weed cases, etc., but she's been talking about legal weed for a while. This is a big public step, but it's been her platform.

A voice from Stoicism:

Fucking Marcus Aurelius. I don't know why people keep quoting this douchebag, he was a fucking emperor for god sake.. not a saint or sage. It's no different than King Charles lecturing people about environmental issues whilst living in a thousand room palace or the Pope lecturing about morality from his gold encrusted nonce fortress.

We need less Stoicism, and more Uncle Ted Kaczynski (without the murder). People, in particular the young, have been royally fucked by the system and absolutely nothing is being done about it. All over the Western world no housing is being built while simultaneously importing third world dross to replace both ourselves and the stability of middle class culture.

/end rant

I presume you've never read his philosophical ideas? I've actually never heard anyone anyone hate on Aurelius before, let alone call him a douchebag :ROFLMAO: . You made me smile, thanks.

He was suspicious of his own power. He had a servant who followed him around, and whenever someone complimented him, the servant would whisper in his ear, "You are only a man... you are a mortal man.", etc.

He had brilliant ideas and was one of the most popular emporers for a reason.

Trumps more likely too reduce prices. You'll still be able to do what ever it is you normally do anyway. In the mean time Harris is trying to bribe African American voters to get herself elected.

^ can you give a couple of examples of exactly how trump will reduce prices? thanks.

his comment is a good example of the genetic fallacy i.e. rejecting an argument based on its origin rather than its content.

Producing our own Oil and other products in the U.S. will make the prices go down.

Producing our own Oil

the u.s produces more oil than any other country in the world (daily average is ~13 million barrels, april 2024).

that's a ~7% increase year on year.

what will trump do to change that. can you be specific?

and other products in the U.S.

can you explain, specifically, how trump will change this?

thanks.
