Have to say that I really liked that version. The musicianship and singing was top notch.

I can see how people could interpret the lyrics as being about something other than falling for some femme fatale, some sections yes maybe, others wouldnt really fit, imho, at least not on the surface level anyway.

Think its about a love/ relationships to but, without experience, 'lover' as Heroin works most of the time besides certain parts.
But get the association between the two. Love for substance ok, but a substance having feelings too. Bit unrealistic but so is poetry.

And grime, like what I posted Ocean Wisdom, his real name btw. 'Dem ones' great text about beafing, bating, fighting, debating wastemen.
Very relevant overhere, watch em the wastemen. They allready have shown themselves. Never give em what they want, let em have their last word.

This is a great version, but then again I've never heard a version I didn't like.
