Edit: Welcome to EADD's Happy Little Weather Thread™️ where we invite you to take a break, tell us how the weather is where you are and share something about your day. Friendly conversation and little tangents are both welcomed and encouraged :)

My original British summer fueled delirium post can be found below.

I don't care that our summers are only three weeks long or that I make the same complaint every year. It's too fucking hot it's too fucking humid there is no air con.

Ugh.

Fucking England man.

That's all.

Or weather complaint general idk. Too hot can't think.

with you on that one, i'm on the coast and there's been a nice breeze today, but generally feel we border on tropical in summer.
Envy you that. My family are down by the coast for the weekend. I have work and am stuck in dead centre middle england. The only way to get further away from the sea would involve climbing.

On the topic of temperature, i was in Thailand in 2016 and it was 36° at 10am, thought i'd go for a wander and made it around 200 yards before turning back, absolutley drenched.
I was in Bali for 3 weeks that year right towards the end of the rainy season, I never quite did get used to it. I'd love to visit Thailand it's next on my list if I an ever afford a holiday again.

Hope you managed some sleep in the end. Funny you mentioned needing an anesthetist, I gave up on the prospect of going to bed in the end and busted the ket out instead and think I actually ended up getting more sleep than if I'd tried going to bed at a decent time.

Anyway, it has cooled down and my lucidity has returned. Same time next year eh?

Not any better here this summer is really off. We had summer in februari, no spring and the summer. One day rain, one day sun humidity raising to the extreme that I am glad to be near the sea for a breeze. And all those grey days inbetween, middle of Juli.

I have aircon. *smiles in smug*
Ventilaters work to or a sea-breeze, to bad I need an air cleaner/ airco [expensive, and complicated to make a choice] to remove some of the PFAS, PACs, Pesticides and Pollution from cars/ boats/ barbeques and industry all around.

My dust, before my air cleaning plants was black, not white, brownish or grey. Its now white, externally nothing changed so where it really my plants? About 16 and counting by now. Air purifying ones. They also cool down your house, as do garden plants especially when tactically planted. Meaning a concrete vs green garden.

The word on the street is it's on for tomorrow aswell, up to a mind boggling (for me) 20°+ In my area.
What, that is only 68 degrees Fahrenheit. It is about 26 degrees Celcius in my house and it feels comfortable and cool. I don't even notice the heat till around 30 degrees Celcius in my home and 32 degrees Celcius outside.
My relatives in Texas have endure days that are around 40 degrees Celcius, and I remember working in my dead ex uncle's factory in that type of heat, when I worked for him one summer, BTW semesters in College
I can only wish for 20 degrees Celcius in the summer. Days that are 20 degrees Celsius are a rare treat for me, in the summer.

I was wrong, the record is in The United States. The Libyan desert record was proved wrong. 134.1 degrees Fahrenheit or 56.7 degrees Celcius.
