This is a wild idea and if it pisses you off take comfort in the fact it will NEVER happen.

Do we agree that a psychedelic taken in a positive controlled environment is a positive experience?

Could the school system provide said positive controlled environment? (lets save would for later)

Is in not preferable that the first time an 18 yr old trips that it would be around "legal guardians?" (which the school does become in the US at least)

IF we do decide to continue down this road of legalizing psylocibin products is it not almost an inevitability MOST people will buy some mushrooms at some point?

This should be optional to the student and only allowed with parental consent. That agreed would it really be so wild to let the students try a small dose of psychedelics for future experience? (Along with a long talk about dosing tripsitting and the state of the market)

Yes I am probably crazy but it makes some sense to me.

Assuming we are talking about a situation where the teachers and everyone is informed and understanding of what’s taking place, yea I could see it being beneficial. Imagine that cool hippy teacher taking the tripping students outside to explore, helping to integrate lessons learned, etc.

But this is assuming a perfect world where everyone’s cool 😎 unfortunately that’s not the case in real life. All it takes is for one person to throw shade at the whole thing and it would come crashing down like a house of cards.

Maybe one day in the future, when everyone is on the same page of psychedelics efficacy, then something like this could work quite well.

Facts. The teacher / tripsitter for that class would have to be chosen very carefully. It may not be a good idea for everyone to trip at the same time either.

Oh yea we are talking way in the future. Obviously the politician who uttered this would be resigning currently. lol.

It makes far more sense for adolescents to be introduced to psychedelics with adult supervision in a church or other kind of religious setting (not necessarily limited to indoor venues). The only exception would be if the school itself was religious, and that would not be the case for the public school system unless the society was monotheistic.

Lots of guys in our school back in the day tripped in our school. Generally teachers and most other students wouldt know. I also had a teacher who took shrooms though i dont know if he ever took them in class. He very well might have though. I remember our chemistry teacher made fun of a guy in class for selling shrooms one time to lol
