2024 US Presidential Election

If the DNC truly want to do the right thing they should run a better candidate. The world is teetering on nuclear war and the US and the entire world needs someone who can navigate world issues without a teleprompter or "notes" that he cannot locate while speaking. This is no time to be "nice to grandpa". Joe Biden looks and sounds more like Abe Simpson each and every day.

The world deserves a better choice to compete against Trump, for all our sake.

Are you seriously implying that Trump is not morally bankrupt? Its well known by contractors in New York that he doesn't pay people he does business with, just as one example

Don't be naïve, come on. You can tell who can speak off the cuff, like Trump or Nigel Farage, and who has clearly rehearsed their lines and been coached on the direction to take in a speech or interview. This happens all over the place, and why politicians of the modern era do not do public question and answers, but only answer questions within the confines of a controlled corporate environment. They all meltdown in the face of unscripted situations where they have to call on their own personality and beliefs, but because they don't actually have any they can't answer anything.

We had an election debate on the TV the other week in the UK, 7 way with all prospective leaders. Even the young Green party leader couldn't speak from personal conviction, she continually was looking down at her notes! And she was probably only 40ish.

There is no convincing these people, they are lost, caught up in some delusion about Trump being a fascist leader to whom they are the resistance by merely squawking about it. The fact they would instead choose a morally bankrupt career politician who is now completely senile just shows you how removed from reality these people are, it's ridiculous.

Know what? I don't vote for the person who "looks like a leader" of even "acts Presidential". I vote for the man whose thought out ideals and policies align with what I believe to be correct. Again, read some of Trump's "non-rehearsed" (right :rolleyes: ) ramblings and see what they sound like.

And, his persona doesn't particularly particulary impress me either. Maybe if you like snake oil salesmen.

I guess Biden was scripted on all these interviews?

And getting reeeeal close to children and taking a good long sniffder is the kind of persona that does impress you? The laptop is real. Like father, like son.

You lot can quibble about personalities all you like, but I'll take a pig headed pussy grabber over a father and son who are clearly suspect.

Trump himself isn’t fascist but he has made a deal and teamed up with them and will hand them control in exchange for support.

So he’s basically fascists tool or fascist adjacent.

Biden is just an absolute criminal helping corporations crush the working class into dust.

I’ts hard to say which of each of their respective “tracks” could actually progress into the end stages and which could be more disastrous for America.

I don’t see facism really taking off in America even if they get political control.

I can more easily see the corporate ebslavement and obliteration of the working class happen though as facilitated by dems and their owners.

And, I'm not voting for Hunter Biden. Nor would I vote for Don Jr.

The only charge they could make stick with Hunter is the same crime any gun owner who has ever smoked a joint has committed. Prolly a bad website to call Hunter a criminal if you own a gun. Here's the question he is charged with lying on.

I don't feel Biden will continue to be the Democratic candidate moving forward after this debate.. If you can't hold your own against a chronic liar, mass felon and unashamed bullshit artist, that uses manipulations based of good peoples faiths to further his utterly unaligned goals, then we all need someone else to step the fuck up.

Republicans need to step back, look at what you truly stand for and believe. Does fkn Trump in his personal life embody these? Endorse another candidate? He is gross, you all are not?
