No no I’m here. I haven’t taken the subs yet, considering just trying to kick it all together. I’m too scared of the perscipared withdrawal. How long after using morphine could I just start slamming benzos to get off completely?

My issue is I’ve been on such a low dose of bupe that the morphine and oxy would take over my receptors?

Not worth the risk in my opinion
the morphine I slammed this morning felt like it did something but not a lot. Which would mean the morphine is now occupying my receptors? Taking bupe now could send me into pcw?
 
Oh, I understand, this unfortunately is a Friday night, you in America and it gets dead here but I'll be around, snowed in
 
I was hoping more people would be here, many are experts on this kind of issue but I ain't going anywhere, just took meds and gotta wait to eat, I know how bad withdrawals are, I almost died from alcohol withdrawal a few times

Oh my gosh. I hope you are doing well. Is this a taper ? Lowering doses would most likely be an option to ween from a substance and most likely be the best way.
 
Yeah just unsure. Wondering how long after I’ve taken the morphine I can start taking benzodiazepines safely?
 
Hi yes it’s taper. Was down to 1mg bupe per day.


I’ve been 49 hours without bupe which is the longest I’ve been without in over a year. The morphine and oxy I’ve been taking has helped somewhat with the withdrawal but not a lot. I do have subs I can take and I realised I made a mistake jumping and that I should have tapered lower but now I’ve taken the morphine and oxy I’m scared to take my bupe?

Could I take 1mg bupe right now without going into PCW?

Yes, you can take 1mg bupe and not go into precipitated withdrawal. did you just use the morphine and full agonists today? after being on bupe chronically? i promise you’re okay, your MOR aren’t addicted to full agonists, it’s dependent on the partial agonist bupe. you’ll be completely fine to dose your suboxone.

there’s no way PWD would occur in my honest opinion and going back over the science of opioids and all of that - but even if it did, you’ve got a metric fuckton of benzos to sedate and help you even if you possibly did, which you won’t.
 
I took oxy 25mg yesterday and have taken 40mg morphine today in total. Last morphine dose was like an hour ago? Think I’ll still be safe to have bupe? The morphine feels like it’s barely hit me

if you were to dose these for withdrawal symptoms, i’d do a higher ativan / lorazepam dose due to how quick it acts. that’s why it’s used clinically all the time. good efficacy

yes you’ll be fine buddy, you didn’t restart a full agonist dependency from using those today and yesterday. you’ve still got a lot of bupe built up in you, that’s why the morphine isn’t hitting like it normally does.

you’re fine to take your bupe, i promise lol

Im about to try 0.5mg and see how I feel.
