Even if that was possible (lol) , they'd just appoint new leaders. It's not like they are a traditional military unit that would fall apart if the line of command was broken. Every member of Hamas has a pretty clear mission: use civilians as cover and kill Jews. Their strategy and goal will not change if you kill the dudes in Qatar.

oh yeah that'd be real smart. Go into the enemies turf outnumbered. Do you think all the Hamas folks wear uniforms so you could easily identify them? I guess just go into their tunnels unnoticed, kill some dudes, then extract yourself without dying . Yeah that sounds realistic!

Special forces work in highly specific cases where stealth can be employed (like getting to OBL and killing him) not in densely populated areas that are overflowing with hostile enemies.

There are SF units who train to operate in dense urban areas, more like CIA shooters. Plenty of SF in Afghanistan and Iraq were rolling around looking like civilians or local militants.

and how exactly do they know who is Hamas and who isn't, and how do they kill them without drawing attention to themselves, and how do they get out without dying?

there are obviously special forces who can "operate" in dense urban areas, but their objective wouldn't be to kill large amounts of Hamas fighters.

The smaller country picked a war with the larger country in order to galvanize support because if they depended on support based on how they treated their own citizens it would fail miserably.

Of course not, "some" people just can't see beyond "the we're oppressed" card to see that the actual oppressor is that countries own "leaders" . You know those who live in the desert then tear up water pipes from the infrastructure to make missiles so that their own citizens lack water in the first place.

Or perhaps you actually notice but refuse to admit it.

Or most likely are just a common internet troll. Pehaps it's in the name one chooses, because no-one argues with "someguyontheinternet"", am I right ?

Those water pipes were feeding Israeli settlements from the Gaza occupation not Palestinians. You're swallowing Israeli propaganda whole

Sounds to me like you just think Hamas is somehow immortal. What is the point of fighting the war then, won't there just be more of them? Why bomb Gaza at all?

If the water pipes were "feeding Israel" then why did Hamas claim that Israel cut off water to Gaza. Gaza either needs water from Israel (Hamas own claim) or is supplying Israel. It can't be both simultaneously.

Not feeding Israel, but Israeli settlements in Gaza during the previous occupation. Did you not know Israel had settlements in Gaza? Like they do right now in the west bank?

They go into an area and find a hide site/ observation post, and call in fires missions, or conduct small raids.


It can be. A small team moves in, starts a fight to trigger the enemy to react, and then they call in artillery/airstrikes on the heads that pop up.

Not all special forces are long range recon teams in forests and deserts. In Afghanistan and Iraq there were teams and solo operators in cities where "soldiers" stick out and are targets.

They wear suits, or jeans or dress like a local and carry AKs.
