besides the tweet language, which seems to be deliberate, she didn't really do anything wrong... ie didn't make mistakes. and i certainly would NOT write like a stiff just because i was in academia, EXCEPT in the context of academia.
i think your tone is that of superiority... she may have met and exceeded her online standards... again, it looks like she deliberately wrote in short hand... maybe to make sure it was pithy and not taken as extremely serious (which speaks more to her disrespectful attitude on the subject than her grammar skills)
