"Prior to the recent escalation, 308 Israelis had been killed since 2008, compared to a staggering 6,407 Palestinians. An even more startling revelation is the number of injuries, with 152,560 Palestinians injured during this period, including 85,320 during demonstrations, compared to 6,307 Israelis injured."
"The battle itself is inherently unequal, with Israel as the occupying force and Palestinians as the occupied people. The stark contrast in military capabilities and global support cannot be ignored. "Human lives should never be subjected to a hierarchy of sympathy, and the suffering of civilians, whether Israeli or Palestinian, should be met with equal concern. It is time for a more balanced and just approach to resolving this enduring conflict, one that truly prioritizes the sanctity of all civilian lives involved, especially as the death toll in 2023 threatens to surpass the grim numbers of 2014."
