Israel is under attack

Posting this again, worth a watch all the way though. Lot's of history in it to delve into.

Well, if they're short on adrenaline and cortisol they could visit any hardass Arab state and see what happens, and not just Gaza. The 'Queers for Palestine' is the dumbest thing imaginable. Ironically the only place they'd not find themselves falling off a roof is Israel.

Rhodes didn't have the foresight to imagine the internet and the fact people (plebs) might one day read his last will and testament - first rule of fight club. He makes direct reference to the Jesuit's in his will, how he modelled his roundtable directly on the structure of the Jesuit's - how is it he came to understand the mechanics of that organisation, one has to wonder.

Meanwhile, Rome chooses to illuminate the Arch of Titus the other day (see image below). No real condemnation from the Vatican about the attacks either, which Israel has criticised.
Israel Foreign Minister Eli Cohen asked the Vatican to come out with a condemnation of Hamas’ attack on Israelis.

Contrast this with 9/11 and the response from the Pope;
9/11: When John Paul II grieved with America

Pope literally came out the very next day, the 12th, and condemned the attack in his speech at St. Peters Square.

Arch of Titus.

The dude who made that video lies, distorts, and misrepresents history while making nonsense arguments based on scripture all throughout the video. I'm not surprised you believe it

Lastly, footage from the hospital shows minimal blast damage/crater, as is typical of a rocket explosion and not an Israeli missile.
There's crappy roofing tiles barely unmoved on an overhanging roof just adjacent to the car park. If it was a large HE warhead that whole area would look eviscerated, not just burned out. I knew as soon as I saw the photos it was laughable bullshit.

Israeli Weapon Systems
However, most of the weapons dropped were gravity bombs (Mark 82, 83 and 84) fitted with JDAM guidance kits (GBU-38, GBU-32 and GBU-31 respectively) giving the weapon capability to hit a designated GPS coordinate.

The IDF prominently employed the 2,000-pound GBU-31 (V)4/B bunker-buster subvariant to level high-rise buildings in Gaza.
This is what a 2000lb warhead looks like. If it was one of these then the man who filmed the Gaza hospital explosion would have been oblierated.

Wonder if this is a sign that it's going to get pretty bad and be a long drawn out war?

Is anyone surprised? The US is run by corporations and some of the most powerful ones are the arms manufacturers. They need to keep profiting which means they need war

How many of the weapons deals he approved do you think were used in killing Palestinian children?

@someguyontheinternet do you think all the people on the internet who were peddling the Hamas propaganda about the hospital hold any blame for the anti-Jewish riots/attacks happening across the globe?

Historically, these conflicts are usually intense but relatively brief. This one feels different though. Given global instability post covid and the ever diminishing role the US seems willing to play in international conflict, I'm very concerned that this regional dispute will spread and become something much broader.

This bit in particular caught my eye:

An X [Twitter] account under the name Farida Khan claiming to be an Al Jazeera journalist in Gaza posted a message saying they had a video of a "Hamas missile landing in the hospital" in Tuesday's incident. Al Jazeera subsequently alerted social media users that the account had no ties to the news service. Al Jazeera told Reuters it does not employ a person with the name Farida Khan. The account was later removed.

The one available video of the hospital explosion doesn't look like any of the available videos of known Israeli missile strikes to me. There's a large amount of translucent white-ish smoke, illuminated by an extended fireball, which is probably the sugar/potassium nitrate fuel mix. Israeli missiles (high-explosive) produce lots of thick dust clouds from pulverized material and a brief fireball.

Hospital explosion

Israeli air strike

I'm deafened by the silence of the people in this thread who raged wildly against the "genocidal" Israelis but haven't really made a peep about what is clearly the absolute nihilistic insanity of Hamas in this latest atrocity. If you cannot see why they are a group of utter savages by now, I think you're basically unreachable.

I've been increasingly appalled by human bias and tribalism over the last few years, but for me, this is a true crossing of the Rubicon.

No, antizionism is not the same as antisemitism. I've said it many times in this thread

Instead they add to the list of war crimes and bomb hospitals filled with children
I guess it's alright for Israel to bomb hospitals though. Thats pretty goddamn low. Personally if i was in Palestine i wouldnt let that go either
IDF has now bombed a hospital killing over 500 people, most of them likely civilians and children
Islamic jihad attack? That's super believable

If the video I saw of the rocket taking a sharp turn was real, then I think it was a genuine malfunction. I don't think Hamas has guided missiles that could do a maneuver like that so precisely.

If they did it. Genuinely more misinformation than real information out there about this war. Even from news channels.
