Yeah, I hear alcohol and benzo withdrawals are the worst.I would definitely recommend opiates over benzos, simply because I’ve withdrawn cold turkey from both and opiates were BY FAR the easier to kick

That's what I fear the most ; waking up to find them crawling on me. It's bad enough losing sleep over it when I just see them randomly in the house.Diatomaceous Earth works best to kill all those nasty bastards.trying to sleep and one crawls across your face when your a sleep.non harmfull to humans or pets
You guys call that thing a "water bug"?These

The right one is in fact a water bug, but the one posted by electrum is a fucking roach. Trust me on this one, I know a roach when I see one.![]()
Exactly How to Tell if You’re Dealing With a Cockroach Vs. Water Bug—and What to Do

Yeah, it's frustrating as fuck. Especially since I spot-clean daily, deep-clean weekly, and ALWAYS clean up after any mess or seeing anything out of place (I just moved from a cluttered camper, and the clutter PTSD has turned me into a neat-freak on top of my pre-existing, severe entomophobia). I don't wanna take more oxy or fentanyl patches and fuck up my tolerance even more over these little fuckers, but I'm at wit's end with these disgusting demons from hell and there's no way I'd be able to sleep unless I'm thoroughly sedated. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated. Names of reliable products or any tips to discourage more of them from entering the house is helpful. I can't understand for the life of me why our old camper was damn-near bug free, yet our spotless doublewide is more or less a hotel for them where they live rent free. My fiance says it's probably because the camper was properly sealed, whereas our doublewide has cracks and openings where they can easily find a way in. I dunno. I don't wanna profile people, but the previous couple who lived here looked like stereotypical trailer-trash (I would know, given I'm related to what some might call "trailer trash"). For all I know, they might've had this problem, took no measures to fix the issue, and didn't bother telling us. I'm hoping it's just the rain and humidity, which would mean I will see less of them when the rainy season passes and even less when fall weather comes. Unfortunately, there's really no way of knowing til the seasons change and I don't wanna be miserable for a long hot summer (and in Oklahoma and Texas, summers are ridiculously long). I need those disgusting little freeloaders gone and I need them gone ASAP. I might just die of fright if one lands on me.I feel your pain 1000% Seeing those little fuckers would throw me into a obsessive cleaning frenzy lasting all day/night. Just seeing one would make me physically squirm/wig-out because I could imagine them and feel them crawling on me...Then i had a personal vendetta against them when I would see them violating my personal space or god forbid be anywhere near my food...I could not, and would not sleep either until I inspected the surrounding area and even then I would sometimes keep the lights on....THANK GOD this year not 1 roach/bug has been spotted inside my apartment or even outside...New management took over and redid everything from landscape to paint to full building fumigating (with exception of me because I had BEEN fighting for months before they even started )
I did talk to one of the exterminators however and he showed me the exact stuff they use which he said you can buy on amazon for a fairly decent price and basically have and use professional grade stuff but save the visitation fee... ill try to add an image of it if you want to give it a try. Otherwise, good luck and keep up the good fight...
Also, smoking meth make the squirms and grossed out feelings off seeing them 1000x worse....and i mean wayyyy worse!

It's the males that fly in search of females. The females are flightless and somewhat larger. Works that way with many insects. I'm currently in Brazil where the things are up to 2 inches in size and my boyfriend just took a male off the wall with a pellet gun XdI just learned that flying roaches exist. Man, I hate most bugs so much
Burn baby burn...My ex house had some kinda similar looking fuckers in the kitchen. That house needs to be burned down
I can definitely relate to your fear of cockroaches. They used to paralyze me and hate missing when i attempt to kill ‘em usually with a shoe. The aftermath of smashing em is pretty gnarly too. However if I miss and it disappears I wont be able to do anything until it reappears and hopefully meets its demiseThing is, I'm a neat freak. I do laundry a few times a week and I deep clean on a weekly basis, so this is driving me insane. I live in the Texoma area and I'm hoping it's just the warm, humidity/rainy season that's bringing them in and nothing that I'm falling short on, because I've been keeping our new place clear of food waste and always clean up after myself (and my fiance). It's really fucking with my head and my willpower to resist taking more oxy, but after the sight of a cockroach I know that unless I want to lose sleep over it, it's my only option. People might say it's just an excuse to take more, but the thing is--I just want to be at peace so I can sleep through the cockroach anxiety. I have no idea why, but I'm terrified of bugs. I've tried fly swatters, Raid, and putting the AC on full-blast (not to mention I keep the house squeaky clean). I guess the next step is an exterminator, but I worry that it will be a waste of time and money. After all, I live on the outskirts of town where they thrive, so my guess is they aren't going anywhere. What's scary is I read somewhere that not 1 house in the world is 100% bug-free. Fucking yikes. I guess my question is: Can anyone relate or am I freaking out over nothing? Also, what the fuck do I do to handle this better? I don't wanna have to keep dipping into my stash every time I see one. This shit is expensive enough as it is.
