Oh, look, another baseless ad hominem.
Again, horseshit. If you'd really been to any significant number of drag shows, you would not be spewing this BS. You would know that it's mostly exactly the tedious and un-sexy costumed lip-syncing I've already described. And I'll see your "early 2000s" and raise you one. My first drag shows were in the 1990s, at Trannyshack (When it was still called that. I don't recall what they renamed it to.) at The Stud in San Francisco. If mainstream drag were a "hypersexualized" affair, that is EXACTLY where it would be at its most titillating. But out here in the real world beyond the confines of your imagination, it's not.
And more baseless ad hominem.
Bull, you people have been saying pretty much exactly that for some time now
Three for three with the baseless ad hominem. At least you're predictable.
It absolutely *IS* weird and hysterical to obsess about "protecting" anyone, of any age, from conspiracy theories, drug and/or paranoia induced fever dreams, and bullshit you made up from whole cloth to "support" your preconceived agenda and narrative.
Do you people actually think you've come up with anything new? All of your talking points about "groomers"? I've heard them since *I* was a kid myself. Only back then your tried to slander LGBT people with the appellation: "recruiter". "Look out for the homos!" they* would tell us... "They can't reproduce naturally, so they send out recruiters to turn boys gay." Well, guess what? No one "recruited" or "groomed" me to be gay. If anything, it was exactly the opposite. The social pressure in the public schools is overwhelmingly focused, at all levels from the students to the teachers to the administration to the parents, on enforcing heterosexuality. And if a student ever demonstrated anything that might even imply that they were merely curious about any orientation other than hetro; they'd be subject to immediate and relentless bullying and ostracization... with teachers doing all of jack and shit to stop it... until you did something publicly, performatively, and toxically hetro-masculine. If it were possible to "recruit" or "groom" one into a sexuality, there's be no gay people AT ALL. Your "groomer" nonsense is nothing more than the same sad old hate you people have always vomited forth. All you've done is mad-lib in one different word. And you are not nearly so clever as you think you are.
*These particular "theys" were the health teachers in my middle (Either 7th or 8th grade, I'm not sure.) and high (9th grade, definitely.) schools.
