At first, I couldn’t get entertained by anything. I watched tv shows and movies at night, nothing kept my attention. At month seven, I could play video games and watch movies again. I suggest watching a tv show as it takes up time and is entertaining.does anyone get entertaind with anything
my whole dopamine system isnt working like before
does anyone know if this will return back
Yes, they do recover. 3 months isn't enough time to feel a "rush" again or even common enjoyment. By Christmas you will be able to enjoy a holiday, I'm sure. Just keep sticking to it and give it more timeI used to get fluided with dopamine before now its just not working at all. can anyone say dopamine reseptors recover?
im 3 months off and dont feel no pleasure from anything
Me mentioning our job complexities was just about trying to help you realise you should do tasks that use your brain more (since what you do now is very basic/simple) even if it is something as socializing, watching things that isn't as simple as football, or if football is the only thing you want to watch then do more research on it and make it less simple for your brain. This will likely help with recovery and make it easier for you to know your progress from multiple angles.I meant that mindset is destructive in general, you are obviously very active in recovery. I didn’t realize you got insulted by that it was sincere advice from my part.
Here in America football is a very entertaining and complex sport to watch. We aren't talking about soccer hereMe mentioning our job complexities was just about trying to help you realise you should do tasks that use your brain more even if it is something as socializing, watching things that isn't as simple as football, or if football is the only thing you want to watch then do more research on it and make it less simple for your brain. My personality is coming back over time. My personality is still not the same as it once was, but I am getting close. At the end of month 7 I noticed my personality coming back. If you are still early in your recovery, your personality is going to be altered, at least mine was. My personality was a competently different person the first 7 months off the medication. Your personality will come back slowly, just be patient. Can you guys talk about who you were and how after Invega you were changed. My personality is completely different
My personality got thrown in the bin i'm totally not the same person pre invega the difference is dramatic. It doesnt make sense because cognitively i recovered i could read half a book in one day. Maybe its something that takes a longer time to get back completelyCan you guys talk about who you were and how after Invega you were changed. My personality is completely different

does anyone feel a dopamine rush??
You have a tendency to repeat the same questions over and over. May I please ask you once again that you simply ask a question once, and give people time to answer. Repeated posts of the same exact same questions within a matter of hours (which I tend to delete, as they are considered duplicate posts) simply clog up the thread, and won't help you get your answers any faster. Thank you.does anyone get entertaind with anything

Oh! My bad, I didn't realise you compiled that data yourself, I do apologise! Very nice workYeah it says "drugs.com" and also its not exactly a study its just half life calculator & I'm the source I wrote it myself
I have to agree with you there!!! I have tried many, many times to watch, digest and understand the rules of American football but I have ADD so my brain gives upHere in America football is a very entertaining and complex sport to watch. We aren't talking about soccer here
Did your personality come back after you were off invega for a while? Yeah Mental Blankness Is Horrible Because It’s Like I’m Trapped Inside Myself When Around People And I Can’t Express And Be Assertive The Way I Would Normally Be. It Makes Me Appreciate The Way I Once Was Able To Function And Just Express Myself. I Am Around Family And I’m Not The Same I Know People On This Forum Understand But It Seems Like NoOne Really Understands What I Mean…smh Its Been HorribleAt one point it felt like I had brain damage as well. Mental blankness is one of the worst side effects from invega. And cognitive ability is one of the last things to come back, at least for me. It does get better however, it just takes time.
I’m Literally Right There With You Bro… I Cannot Believe That There Are Medications Out There They Can Do This To Someone. I Do Believe Though, Once Recovered I/We Will Be So Much Stronger And Grateful For Having Gone Through This..same with me
That’s Very True, I Also Didn’t Know Why I Had Changed So Much Until I Looked It Up (Invega Sustenna)…. I Had Been Suicidal And Bedridden, Which Never Happened To Me In My Life. I Was Always Mentally Strong And Very Active. I Also Never Took ANY Medication Before Invega So I Was Very Ignorant To How These Drugs Could Affect Me. This Crap Is Disabling… I’m Just Happy That One Can RecoverIt is all dependent upon how high the dose and how long you were on it. The higher doses and the longer intervals result in the most permanent damage to the dopamine receptors as they will begin to die off permanently after so long of being dormant and the brain decides that is never going to need them again. Also the ones with the longer half lives tend to build up in the system over time because when the drug takes 6 plus days to exit your system and you take the same dose every 24 hours then over time you have way more built up than up than your dose suggests. This is going to accelerate the damage also. It’s been proven in brain scans that long term use of antipsychotics results in loss of brain matter and we actually see the brain shrink. They will eventually make you so apathetic and indifferent that you have no interest in life and turn out laying in bed for 3 years like I did before you realize that’s never the way you felt until these meds robbed you of your motivation and inspiration and left you in a vegetative state of isolation and the scariest part is you almost didn’t know what was happening and had you listened to the doctors you would’ve been on that rubbish The rest of your miserable life and never got your life back. It’s criminal.
Me Too Bro. Give An Example Of What You Mean If You Can… I Find It Difficult To Put What I Mean Into WordsCan you guys talk about who you were and how after Invega you were changed. My personality is completely different

Yes It Took A Little Over A Year Before I Started Researching Invega , And Eventually Found This Forum From Someone On Facebook And It Has Really Encouraged Me And Also Somewhat Comforted Me Knowing I Wasnt Alone.. That I Wasn’t Crazy….. After Reading A Lot Of These Testimonies From This Forum I KNOW That There Are People Here Who Know What I Have Found So Hard To Explain To My Own FamilyI'm really glad you found this thread then, so you know that MANY many other people have experienced and are experiencing the exact same things as you.
