Mental Health Coming off Invega (Paliperidone, Xeplion) injections v 6.0

I took about 3 shots of invega and atleast 18 of abilify and still recovered so you can to.

My shrink in gthere just wanted to see me in prison. She hated the fact that i know alot about psychiatry and would always argue with her. She kept blaming everything on weed lol

No one really understands the permanent damage, we just know it exists

@UnluckyXeplion I don’t think you’ll get rebounds either but I wouldn’t rule that being a possibility out like for example @Afernandes1 took the loading doses 3 times cause of rebounds but said she didn’t get rebounds till month 12 each time so be sure to keep that in mind my plan if I go into a rebound psychosis is first to try high doses of CBD and intense exercise if that doesn’t work id take the lowest dose of an anti psychotic id need to stay out of psychosis I don’t think it’s gonna end up like that for me but better to have a plan then be potentially be sorry later on.

That’s right.
I think it takes around 12 months on average to recover from 2 shots because that’s how long I took to relapse all 3 times.

weed became legal right around the time you were in the psych ward didn’t it and yea for some reason the staff at the psych ward hate when your educated they gave me attitude cause I knew what serotonin was.

ya igy what does your psychosis stem from? if you don’t mind me asking was it drug induced, stress induced, do you have schizophrenia? Etc

No like a few years before. Nurses used to get so pissed at me because i would just ignore them yelling at me and smoke my weed and cigs anyway. And yeah they fucking hate anyone that is the least bit educated. They loved the people there that where none to smart though

Ya the nurses like the uneducated people cause they can manipulate them easier and make more $$ off of them.
 
^^ Are you sure you posted enough links? lol. I have thankfully only suffered temporarily because of invega. However something like 2 years worth of sexual dysfunction and anhedonia was still alot to put up with. Noone should have to put up with that but i was scared at first of bringing up switching meds to my shrink as i didnt trust him at first and was scared he would throw me back in the psych ward or something. Thankfully he turned out to be a good guy though.

However i am suffering very permanently it seems from PTSD from being unmedicated, suffering from psychosis and cotards syndrome and thrown in solitary confinement and more or less tortured. Solitary confinment is considered torture by the UN but somehow because your mentally ill this is considred "treatment" not torture. Funny but im pretty sure if i pinned someone down and injected them with drugs and threw them in solitary that it would be considered assault \at the very least and unlawdul confinment.

One of the worst things for me that made me so mad in there was when they had a rights advisor come into me telling me about all the rights i had which was basically that i had a right to a phone call and mail i think more or less. So great thanks that i have as much rights as a prisoner even though i had done nothing illegal and not been charged

They probably get along well with uneducated people because alot of the nurses seem rather uneducated to me. I mean really as long as you can read a pill bottle you can be a psych nurse.

Ya tbh the nurses seemed dumb asf in my ward all of them seemed miserable too like they hated their lives.
 
thankfully I’ve only suffered from invega temporarily too I think I’ll come out of this without permanent damage at the end of the day but it really bothers me how much torture I went through sometimes but I think psychedelics really helped prevent me from getting PTSD I realize the hell is over now and logically it’s very unlikely to happen again so I try my best not to let it bother me too much.

If that's the case, then it will take me around 4 years to recover from 7-8 shots?
If full recovery is real, then most likely sooner if I'm lucky...

Definitely stress induced.
I had severe insomnia and anxiety right before I relapsed.

ya igy anxiety doesn’t usually ever turn into psychosis but insomnia will do it for sure, insomnia played a big role in my psychosis, If I were you I would start taking high doses of CBD it’s a safe non addictive chemical that slows down the metabolism of invega so the taper will be even slower and probably prevent you from relapsing into psychosis it also has anti psychotic benefits to it but doesn’t lower your quality of life at all if anything it improves it it’s an anti psychotic by increasing the levels of serotonin and mainly GABA in your brain it doesn’t block or even act on dopamine at all keep up the intense exercise too that also increases the levels of GABA in your brain which helps prevent psychosis you can’t get addicted to CBD and exercise either like you would with benzos which also act on GABA if it’s an emergency though like you are severely losing touch with reality and slipping back into psychosis one benzo wouldn’t hurt to calm you down then you can think clearly of what actions to take next.

some people believe the 10% of negative stories instead of the 90% of positive ones i don’t get why some people do that 90% of people recover in 6-24 months even with multiple shots just don’t listen to the negative posts tbh.
