TL;DR - Trying to read Adjustment Day by Chuck Palahniuk. Optimistically, I might finish it in a couple of months.

Every time I go to the library with my daughter, I rent out the large print edition of Adjustment Day by Chuck Palahniuk. Finding it increasingly difficult to find the time to read novels or do anything for myself now that my daughter is growing up and wanting to interact with me constantly. I scooped her up last week on a daddy day and ran her down to the library to return a bunch of books only to realize when we got back that the books I was supposed to return were still on my bed.

I accidentally returned a stack of my daughter's books to the library. I'm such a scatterbrain when I'm stoned. I often put stuff in the microwave and forget about it for a couple of hours... Anyway. I went back down to the community centre, expecting our books to be waiting for me all stacked up in a neat pile in front of a big breasted smiling librarian. No books. No tits to speak of either. The woman behind the counter was nice enough. She told me they had no idea where they were. I tried to make sense of it out loud. The old me would've been pissed off. Instead, I was mildly annoyed.

So then my daughter finds one of the books we returned - one of her books - in the kids section, on a shelf... and I'm like WTF? How did this get on the shelf? How did they not notice it doesn't have a code on the spine or a rental history in the sleeve? What are they doing: stealing books from little kids now?

I'm walking briskly back towards the counter when I realize it does have a code on the spine... and a rental history.

Turns out we had like twenty books on loan.

I need to cut down on the weed.
 
Just finished the latest Jack Reacher (No Plan B)

Had that Flight or Fright anthology since it came out. Want to read it on an actual plane, but started reading it as I don't know if/when I'll be able to fly.
 
Eh...maaan.reading...no more books&music for me like before.....idk why is that..can't find explanation,vut it's not good......I wish i can read&listen music again.....somethin'happened years ago may be?!?......and i am deaf&blind....hope it will change,it will pass.....and be able to do this again.....some kind ego-dissolution? idk for real
 
Started reading How to Sell a Haunted House by Grady Hendrix last night. Only like 90 pages into it, but really enjoying it so far.
