they're doing us dirty


they're gonna change the rules of the dive on the fly because the ppl that created the dive are no longer on staff

so they're gonna do whatever they want because the power's gone to their heads and nobody's gonna say anything about it - except for us

and then we're the assholes....picking on the poor mods who put in all their free time

What really irks me is when they start talking about feeling “safe” like obviously you have never been in any real danger, that word just bugs
 
Yeah and misgendering them is so much more upsetting than anything I could have ever experienced even though I've been through hell and they know nothing about me.

what are the 3 most common issues that make the natives restless on a forum?

1. deleted/edited posts
2. deleted threads
3. bannings

and if all 3 of those are happening at the same time, you're asking for a full blown revolt

so all 3 of those should only be used as a last resort
 
There are those of us with your interests in mind, but starting a crusade against mods is not the way to go about effecting change.

The pen is mightier than the sword, or in this case proper diplomacy, not warfare.

Jannies are gonna jannie, it’s just their nature. This place is 1000% better than when the cultural revolution first hit under the previous regime. They feel the need to delete wrong think stuff sometimes, it is what it is. They do it for free

now - i have stuck to the pen

but my question is this: do you think i don't know why a mod made me my own thread and then stuck it in the Site Technical Help subforum?

you might be right....because that does happen to me often with ppl that have a left leaning viewpoint - i'll eventualy state something that doesn't fall in line with everything and then im cast off

and im a centrist - i lean a little left and i lean a little right


but the right seems to have a far better acceptance of who i am and what i think in those terms

i feel like the left has a very lower tolerance of thought that doesn't fall exactly in line with the left narrative
 
100% agree, Mr. Karen.

I'm centre also. These days if you're half right-wing and have left-wing, you're completely right-wing.

Right wing people I've had discussions with IRL basically never get upset about me stating left wing opinions.

The same does not apply in reverse. Lefties will throw often throw tantrums - and all logic will go out the window - if they are confronted by an argument that they cannot counter.

I'm a leftie. I've literally never lost an argument in my entire life. My godlike logic is infallible. You're wrong.... and a nazi, I think you're definitely a nazi too. My virtues will shower the world with love and free gummy bears.

I personally see a lot of flaws with certain leftist ideology and people. I still hate the far right more, though.
