Multiculturalism is so great, until your melting pot has Palestinians and Jews, and Ukrainians and Russians, and Taiwanese and Chinese. Then you have a society of closed cliques and grooming gangs raping white women because they aren't following Sharia law in the UK.

And I say this as someone that has lived in houses with people from dozens of countries from all over.

The U.S. is the only country doing it properly, on paper anyway. Everyone is American first, then wherever they came from second. Limitless multicultural allowance doesn't work if cultures have radically different values or are centuries behind in modernity. If you tolerate a culture that has a poor grasp of human rights then they will eventually trample you.

There has to be an overriding philosophy that governs multicultural states, that trumps all other cultural ideologies. Otherwise it just degenerates into anarchy.

I agree with others in this thread who say that class warfare is #1. The radical leftist ideologies being peddled are a distraction from the fact that billionaires are taking over entire nations, as well as international organizations like the UN and WHO. Our fundamental problem is classism and our #1 enemy is the financial ruling class. All other problems come from that. Intersectional social justice theory has led liberalism down the wrong path. We're fighting over social differences when those are largely embedded in class disparities. A society that has relative material opportunity, equality and affordability does not see the kinds of conflicts we're starting to see now.

The ultra wealthy are sequestering nations and they are having us fight among ourselves over relatively trivial things like gender identity and race. The saddest thing of all is that the average white person has been banned from the conversation, but the they are the barometer of where the economy is headed because they, along with white Asians, have been the most prosperous. If they are sounding the alarm then it means something is really wrong economically... and yet, they are not allowed to join the conversation because they're not the "oppressed class". How convenient. Does no one see the relationship to between this and the sequestration of public assets into private hands?

They have crafted an ideology that does not let warning signals disseminate among the population anymore because the key demographic that can see the most negative changes are being censored due to their "privilege". All the other "oppressed" demographics have always been oppressed so they are just blaming their ongoing plight on "the white man", when it's actually a massive concentration of power into private hands that is driving virtually all our problems right now. It's the most brilliant bait and switch ever, and they did it by corporatizing the universities and training young minds to misunderstand who the real enemy is.

Corporations have learned the game well. They're running the universities now and are peddling this mindless social justice tripe so that people fight over the wrong issues and don't attack the really enemy of everybody, which is the wealthy elite. They have privately decided that humans have too much freedom so they require digital controls to funnel us into profit making schemes. It's obscene. The digital ID agreement that was just signed at the G20 is ABHORRENT. It means Chinese style controls for everyone in the western world so long as there is a "pandemic emergency".

I am so sick of people's complacency and misdirected activism. The real enemy is operating in PLAIN SIGHT and people are fighting over their neighbours using the wrong fucking pronoun. WAKE UP.

Seems kinda weird to blame the psychiatrist. So an adult human goes to see a psychiatrist and says dc, I think I'm actually a man. The doctor presumably helps them on the path they've stated they want to follow, and then they change their mind, and now it's the psychiatrist's fault?

Seems more sensible to blame the peer pressure that likely contributed to the choice, probably his/her friend group was all deciding to transition because they felt confused and depressed and angsty (ie, late teen/early 20s totally normal state of being). Or to blame yourself for being so impressionable. Don't sue to medical professional who was trying to help you do what you hired them to do.

i had to have the non-binary discussion with my daughter yesterday

she thought the unisex bathroom at the store was for the non-binary

anyway, at the end i said "i know, it's a little weird..." and shrugged my shoulders - she said "yea it's really weird"

i said, "i know im sorry but just play along with everybody else for now."

:)

you know it's funny....i remember being around maybe 12? like 1984.... and flipping through my uncle's Hustler magazines, and i'd see the little pictures of trans porn and i'd look and i'd see the whole ensemble and just figured it wasn't real - like how could that be possible?

but my kid is 10 and i gotta have this discussion with her now because everybody else just can't shut up about it?

i don't know man....its all so ridiculous nowadays

Yeah, it really does seem like a lot more work for parents nowadays. I vaguely remember Mum giving me a book called "Growing Up" or something like that when I first hit puberty, and that was about it.

The prevalence of porn literally everywhere now though - that would really bug me if I had kids. Like, I probably wouldn't let them have devices or would lock them down rigidly. Exposing such young kids to hardcore porn (or any porn, frankly, outside a few scantily clad models in lingerie magazines) strikes me as potentially incredibly toxic, and could cause a lot of harm that you, as a parent, would be powerless to become aware of and thus address.

There are all types of gays...like all type humans....they are ......different somehow&not about sexuality....feel the things differently&receive input differently....i think so.Artists. many of them.Amongst them are real diamonds...a lot of them are into drugs...some kind subculture.I am ok with that...sexual preferences are private thing for me...it does not bother me

There are a lot of people to blame in these situations, including the psychiatrist... As far as Jay goes (I actually met her at a festival), she had something like four appointments with a psychiatrist before undergoing irreversible surgeries that made her infertile. She was only 19. That makes her technically an adult, but her argument remains solid. She should've had more sessions before they approved surgeries. She also alleges that she wasn't informed of the risks and she did not know that she would be infertile and develop early menopause.

The law suit is pretty sound, as far as I'm concerned.

If this happened in the 1970s, the doctor would have been lynched (figuratively speaking).

I don't have much of a problem with porn. I don't see images of sex as traumatic, relative to images of people's heads being blown off. There are much worse things on the internet than porn. Depends how old the kids are. Toddlers aren't going to log in to Pornhub. I didn't pursue porn until I started puberty. I saw a couple of images before that and didn't think much of it. Didn't traumatize me.

Some people think it's traumatic for kids to see an adult flaccid penis, but I feel like they're probably just projecting their adult neurosis?

If that is truly the case then you unfortunately have an uninformed opinion. I don't get off to or even watch disturbing porn but there is plenty out there that I see when scrolling looking for just the right one.

Although it is apparently consensual, I've seen some pretty violent shit that would definitely send the wrong message to a young impressionable boy on how to be respectful to a girl. Sometimes when I'm watching porn and the dude starts slapping the girl in the face or I can see a girl is visibly in pain from rough pounding, I go flaccid and immediately have to turn it off. Not to mention some of the dom/sub type porn that looks like it would also be pretty disgusting. Like I said, adults may be able to discern between what is and isn't acceptable but a kid who is just learning the ropes most likely doesn't know which boundaries should not be crossed.

@Jerry Atrick

I don't encounter a lot of disturbing stuff.
What website/s do you use?

If that is truly the case

If what is truly the case?

That I find images of sex less disturbing than decapitation? (That is what I said.)

I suspect games like GTA are worse for the developing mind than porn.

Also, porn is getting better (less disturbing) IMO. The awful porn industry of yesteryear featuring drugged up bimbos with fake tits pretending to get off is rapidly being replaced by "amateur" porn. There are a lot of videos of normal people having sex. That's what I watch, now. It didn't exist when I was a kid. There was only industry porn which I didn't like much.

It's healthier to see images of normal sized dicks and non-perfect bodies.

I go flaccid

I think there's a pill for that.

Kids watch porn here early....8-9years old..no good..u can restrict at some point lockin'the porn channels or controling use of net...there's a different porns..some are ok,some are brutal....not properly for kids for sure...beheadings are gore...that is sick🤮🤮🤮...but i don't think kids are watchin lot of this shit....but porn they watch.....and u can't hardly do anythin'.....it's all about to connection with ur kid(if u have some)Personaly ain't got issues with mine on that age....but kids around start their sexual life early-12 years old
