Tinnitus from covid booster, possibly due to lack of injection aspiration?

Tinnitus from the shots can happen but it's very rare. Something like 0.038% of 2.5 million people had this as a side effect.
I wondered of it myself, as I developed tinnitus 10 days after my 2nd pfizer shot. But given it was that long after, I don't think it's very likely.
I already have bad tinnitus, and got my booster awhile back and nothing really changed.

Tinnitus is very common with the medications used against covid though, they're extremely ototoxic.

Are these the COVID-specific antivirals? I know the injections can definitely cause it. You say you developed tinnitus 10 days after the shot. Yep, it was definitely caused by the shot. Just because it took 10 days to fuck up your ear doesn't mean it wasn't the shot that caused it. It almost certainly did. Many people experienced nasty side effects many weeks and in some cases even months after they received the shot.

And I for one am not taking any more shots. I'd rather get COVID and die than have to live with more hearing damage, which is already making me depressed.

Mine is one side only but it hasn't faded or improved, at all, over the length of a year.

As were mine. All unilateral. Unilateral tinnitus is usually a sign of Meniere's disease or SSHL, and cochleopathy is always present - that is, if the ear is not blocked by wax or a middle ear infection. They are conductive losses. Sensorineural losses are much more serious because they are often permanent and do not resolve, even with prompt corticosteroid therapy. I have residual damage in spite of using steroids every time I had attacks. If tinnitus is caused by hearing loss then what is sudden tinnitus caused by? Sudden hearing loss, am I right or am I wrong? It has to be caused by hearing damage there is no other possibility, it has to be. Tinnitus doesn't just appear out of nowhere for no reason. Something happened to your cochlea or your 8th cranial nerve, it's as simple as that. Yours was almost certainly caused by either a circulation issue or inflammation due to a latent virus that may have been laying dormant in your system for perhaps decades. Epstein-Barr virus lives in at least 30% of the population. It can also cause sudden deafness along with tinnitus and other serious effects.

It definitely wasn't caused by the shot, because after I had sinus surgery last spring it went away completely. It re-developed in August most likely from overconsumption of dab carts. THC has been known to give me ear ringing before, but I didn't use it all year because it would tend to worsen sinus headaches, so I likely have a mild allergy to it, at least flower. I didn't really bother with the pens out of paranoia.

I was gradually developing issues with my sinuses in the earlier months of the year and that's when it started to get bad, middle of May. Neither booster I got had any impact good or bad. I don't know anyone who's developed it, it's astronomically rare. But yes I'm referring to the anti-virals. But go ahead and be anti-vax. It's almost like you don't realize covid itself causes tinnitus for a lot of people too, well after getting better.

I'm definitely not anti-vax. It's just that I've heard far too many horror stories about people going partially deaf, ending up with severe (or mild) tinnitus, or having their hearing irreversibly damaged at random by these vaccines. Now, I won't deny that COVID itself can cause the same exact problems and perhaps at a much higher rate. But I am definitely not anti-vax and if we had another huge wave of a really nasty version of COVID I wouldn't tell anyone not to get another shot. I know how bad COVID is...but it's random, much like the shot. You never know because it's a lucky dip. My sense of smell and taste is important to me and I would not want to get COVID, especially a bad strain.

The effected ear in my case was blocked with wax but, after getting it removed, there was no improvement.

I had thorough hearing tests with an audiologist both before and after the wax removal, neither showed any signs of hearing loss or any change in hearing despite the wax removal.

But the tinnitus emerged the night of getting the pfizer booster.

D-dimer is only elevated in the first week or so. After that it's not because the clots have already formed. But if you don't think it's clot related then that's fine. If your tinnitus is due to brain damage then only time will tell if it'll heal (6 months to 1 year for MTBI).

Do you know anyone who had success using supplements to improve circulation?

What supplements do you know of?

I tried curcumin and it's a no go.

Look up hidden hearing loss. Just because it doesn't show up on an audiogram doesn't mean there is no hearing loss - they just never detected it because the tests are too coarse. Sound levels vs sound quality vs distortion.

Please go to an ENT and ask for a DPOAE/OAE and an electrocochleograph. That will really tell if your ear is fucked up or not. I haven't had one of either of these tests but let me tell you if I did it would show up a world of damage in the high frequencies and even some lower frequencies too.

My neurologist always says that tinnitus is caused by hearing damage or blood pressure problems. That's it.

Chinese medicine (TCM) has many herbal formulas for busting clots safely. It's hard to advise over forums. Consult a practitioner if you can, they will know what to do. Curcumin is more of an anti-inflammatory than a circulatory stimulant. Even though it does both, the second one's function is weak.

There are various theories on potential mechanisms of damage induced by the mRNA product, and interventions to mitigate pathophysiological associated harms:

Spike protein neutralizers, which prevent the spike from damaging cells, include N-acetylcysteine (NAC), glutathione, fennel tea, star anise tea, pine needle tea, St. John’s wort, comfrey tea, zinc, vitamin D, quercetin, bromelain, Indian frankincense and beta caryophyllene, (a cannabinoid CB2 agonist) and vitamin C.
Time-restricted eating (TRE) can help eliminate the toxic proteins by stimulating autophagy, and nattokinase, a form of fermented soy, is helpful for reducing blood clots..
Ivermectin is theorised to bind and neutralize the spike protein.

I've said it on Reddit, and I'm going to say it here. If this problem hasn't gone away by December 2024 that's it. By that point I will have secured the drugs to get the job done. Strangely enough I ended up getting banned from SuicideWatch AND Depression on the Reddit platform. I even got suspended for 3 days from Reddit itself because I tried to apologise to the moderators on an old throwaway account.

So yes, I am definitely going to kill myself if this isn't sorted out in 24 months. And if it gets worse, I'm afraid I will have to bring that date forward. I have had 6 serious episodes of sudden hearing changes since the one I had in June 2020. So to be brutally honest with you guys, I don't think I will make it to December 2024. The way things are going I will be lucky to last another year.

Hard how?

Try me!!

I will certainly look into a TCM outlet and see what they have to say.

I notice, it's like when I get this sensation of change-of-pressure in my head, then the pitch of the tinnitus can become louder or even emerge in both ears; but then the pressure subsides and it fades back to the normal pitch.

That would suggest I guess, something to do with vasculature?

Blood supplying nerves?

........

I've read something about "thrombolytics" as being "clot busters" but beyond that I have no idea.

  • Eminase (anistreplase)
  • Retavase (reteplase)
  • Streptase (streptokinase, kabikinase)
  • t-PA (class of drugs that includes Activase)
  • TNKase (tenecteplase)
  • Abbokinase, Kinlytic (rokinase)
And:
  • heparin,
  • warfarin,
  • dabigatran,
  • apixaban, and
  • rivaroxaban

Sorry to say but once the damage is done, the damage is done. At this point you can try all the different things, but don't get too hopeful about a recovery. It may happen but be prepared for the fact that it may not.

Steroids are the ONLY thing that might work in the early stages, but they need to be started immediately (as in, within a matter of hours) for a most effective recovery, if there is to be any recovery at all.

Sorry.

And yes, I am still contemplating suicide. I'm about to contact my solicitor to work out how to donate my money to organisations against the inhumane slaughter of factory farm animals, especially pigs. They stick them in gas chambers and watching videos of those pigs trying to escape destroyed most of my sanity, or what was left of it anyway. The screams still keep me up at night sometimes. And sometimes I have to cry myself to sleep because of it. It is pure torment.

With covid vaccine induced tinnitus there appear to be many stories of recovery.

In fact most sufferers seem to have recovered in 6 to 18 weeks.

If it is blood-clot/inflammation caused, there's almost certainly a treatment.

No offence but I've had Tinnitus off and on since I was a child and I'm in my mid 40's now and my hearing is perfectly fine.
I actually just thought tinnitus was the sound of absolute silence as a child and assumed everyone hears that high pitched buzzing sound ....
It comes and goes and I've learned to mentally turn it off through years of practicing on focusing on turning it down.
I visualize a volume knob and imagine it turning to zero over and over and everytine it goes away only to periodically come back some months later then I repeat that process and it works 100% of the time ....though it took MANY years of practice and focus to achieve it.
Dissociative also cause temporary tinnitus and I've used them extensively in the past .
Never did it cause my tinnitus to be permanent.
I also have my hearing tested every year through my job which pays for it annually...in 13 years my hearing has been exactly the same according to the hearing tests.
I never have to ask people to repeat themselves and since I've had it periodically my entire life I just find it slightly annoying.
I believe from my own experiences that it can be controlled with a lot of meditative practice....seriously don't kill yourself over some buzzing in the ears.
In addition to that I have a extreme chronic pain disorder that not even opiates can touch and even with all that suicide has never crossed my mind because of these conditions.
You have more control over your body than you realize.

Also, I agree animals should be treated as humanly as possible but you seriously cry yourself to sleep at night because of how slaughter houses manage their business??
Do you realize how much suffering exists in the world by every living thing on a daily basis.
Understanding that ALL life is vampyric in nature will help you to understand that everything that's alive feeds off of other living things. This how it's always been.
I suggest looking into Stoicism... your only hurting yourself by worrying about things you have no control over.
Isn't it more logical to put on a pair of shoes than try to cover the earth in pillows???

It is if you treat it early enough. I am not sure if there are any treatments that you can get for it 9 months out. Maybe there is, but I have no idea. Etanercept would be a nice try, but who is going to inject me with Etanercept? Who will do that for me? Not any doctor I know. How am I supposed to deal with this weird distortion. I know it's due to inflammation or the microvessels affected by that inflammation.

As I said previously, I cannot enjoy music any more so I've decided to terminate my existence. It's not effective immediately but I am going to do it sooner or later, definitely within a couple of years. I will give it time but after that it's a done deal. Theres no cure for this shit. No cure at all. They keep talking about cures. Well, they've told of cures for paralysis for decades now. Where are we now? No closer than we were decades ago LOL.

I am done with my part. There isn't any coming back from this. It's done. Simple as that. Done.

That's rough, don't know what to tell you man.

My two cents is I've suffered from chronic fatigue for the past 13 years, it's robbed my career, friends, family, ability to communicate.

What keeps me going is what I refer to as a "cognitive intervention", a form of behavioral/emotional self instruction that - as fantastical as it sounds - basically makes chicks spontaneously horny for me.

I was like you one time, real interest and focus on one thing; for me that was combat sports, kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, mma etc., (former opponent was Israel Adesyna, current UFC middleweight champ).

I thought I was going to be the next champ, then this illness took everything from me, career in engineering, ability to train.

Like you lost music I lost that in life that gave me pleasure and satisfaction - but I replaced it with the only other physiological thing that gives pleasure.

Getting laid.

Basically a series of words that induce nerve-stimulation by causing girls to get real crazy ("jealous force"), then express their crazy into me ("union love"), details covered comprehensively in the links in my signature.

In my own quirky world I believe they could act as the next major CNS based intervention as it stimulates nerve firing.

My hope is it will ultimately stimulate CNS activity to eventually one day restore my energy, but it's great for emotional-regulation, which is exactly one of the primary interventions for reducing the affect of tinnitus.

..........

I have Satan screaming in my right ear day and night for almost one year but in truth I hate it cause it's a health compromise, but because of how I feel (by way of the above words, self instruction, cognitive application), it otherwise doesn't bother me too much - cause I'm too busy scheming on how to bed-down my next hot chick - and that's a seriously uplifting feeling and great reason to live.

All the shit in life, all the loses I've had, and now tinnitus to boot? Hilariously I'm quite up beat about it all cause by way of the-word-application and scheming how to get my next chick, it's like all those terrible terrible problems, just become little things I can ignore.

.......

That's my side of this difficult tale of tinnitus-management.

Quirky as it is, cause of how you describe your situation I figure no harm to throw it out there. If it could do for you what it does for me then it may alleviate you of a very difficult decision (but it's an n=1 study so far so all I can do is point the way).
