They are what very devout European and Central/South American Roman Catholics call 'nominally Catholic' or 'cafeteria Catholics' who ignore the Roman Catholic church and its adamant stance on being against abortion.

Catholics Can't Be Pro-Choice

There are many people who call themselves Catholic and yet believe, for one reason or another, they can be pro-choice. They can't.

Do you know why Roman Catholic clergy, priests, popes, etc. are forbidden to marry? It has nothing to do with "the patriarchy", oppressing women, misogyny, etc. It is because for many Centuries in Europe, Roman Catholic clergy, leaders, Popes, etc. Could marry and they did so to keep control of gold, entire kingdoms or small nation-states, etc. How do you think the city-province of the Vatican was created and is still powerful, and super wealthy?

Thankfully Martin Luther and the reformation, and the Moravian church, and 30 year's war put an end to all of this in most of Europe and the Western world.

There are also other types of Catholics called Eastern Catholics and they are against abortion as well.

The Russian minesweeper Ivan Golubets was damaged on Saturday morning during a "massive attack" involving drones on Sevastopol, a city in Crimea that hosts Russia's Black Sea Fleet, according to Russian officials.

The Russian Defense Ministry branded the incident a "terrorist attack" and said nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, and seven "maritime drones," conducted the operation.

In a statement posted on its official Telegram channel the Ministry said: "Today at 4.20 a.m., the Kyiv regime carried out a terrorist attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships that were on the outer and inner roadsteads of the Sevastopol base.



how is everything a "terrorist attack" if you're at war and it's a strike on the military? :shrug:

But regarding those territories... don't we remember how bravely ucranians deffended and still deffend Kiev, Jarkov or Chernigov against Russia? Why people from Jerson, Berdiansk, Melitopol etc didn't do the same?

I agree with you that Kremlim is telling bullshit to the world about " their Ukraine" being good and "Kiev's Ukraine" being evil. And ucranians do the same.

Why are people so excited about this one? Cause Russia has nukes and Yemen does not? Or Iraq... no matter how much US government tried to lie about weapons of mass destruction...why were you not so bothered then? Or with Syria, Afganistan, many African ones... Could it be that war only means something to people if they prosperity is at stake? US capitalised and became a great world power due to 2 world wars and US loves war more than anything. I am speaking about goverment not the people that are trying to pay their bills and buy Xanax that is not laced with fent. But I must admit that this time US really made a mess by preventing any diplomacy in Ukraine for several years an inviting them to join NATO perfectly aware that Russia will have no chance but to destroy Ukraine to have s buffer. Pitin warned repeatedly. Plus now China and Iran (and probably Turkey) are going ever closer with Moscow. Just wait and see what weapons will Putin have next year now that Xi is confirmed for 3rd time. But some of us were living this nightmare that you call free market capitalism (essentially war and robbery by economic ways) for last 30 years and are not so eager to shead tears for Zielinski or US military industrial cimplex that is slowly but surely bringing the whole world to its knees.

Wars are ugly but they are main products of any Empire. Now the war is coming near us all and people who have only seen it on TV are all of the sudden very interested. Well chickens are coming home to roost and even living on a continent surrounded by 2 oceans is not enough to feel safe. Especially when 1/3 of the world hates your guts. But starting a war in Eastern Europe was a clever thing to do. It may wake up European people not to follow US doctrine and thus spare US and the world from nuclear armagedon. Maybe in the end war in Ukraine will have fewer casualties than the Iraqi war number 2.

I needed to ramble and so I did. I feel a bit better now. 🤣

Well that is the point - people don't know. But few weeks before invasion Putin and Xi declared unlimited friendship and cooperation with no limits. Well if Iran is giving Russia those drones and missiles just think with what will additional 300.000 mobilised Russians will be gifted. And that is after 6 months of training as winter stop is comming...so there is plenty of time for mobilised Russians to go through through training. With weapons and material for making new weapons in Russia pouring from China in next 4-6 months Ukraine will need a whole lot of new people. Not weapons but people. Not to mention thst Belarus will hsve to join the fight and that following period is long enough for Wagner to enroll many more Afghan military personel and also soliders from Syria, Iran and west China. This will be a bloodbath when it restarts in March...

Nope. Iranian attacks on saudi are coming within 48 hours. South korea and north korea is popping off big time in the last two hours. This is the start of it all. Flash points iran and north korea both at the same time. China will then invade taiwan once america is pinned down in ukraine north korea and iran.

Can america handle all of them at once?
