What is the most anxiolytic benzo in your opinion?

We’ll I managed the impossible I got an addiction specialist to prescribe me sublocade and 2 mg klonopin 30x a month. I just honestly explained to him how beneficial klonopin is to my life and quality of life and of all the medications I’ve tried nothing has managed my anxiety better.

So I’m pretty pumped. I really think if I stick to the script I’m going to thrive.

Personally I find klonopin to be on a level of its own. It’s a God send benzo. The golden standard in half life, anxiolytic ability and slight sedation increased social confidence without the drowsiness.

Best anxiolytics -

1. Klonopin
2. Etizolam
3. Xanax

I find lorazepam, bromazolam to be underwhelming.

And for sleep temazepam the gold standard.

But klonopin by far the best benzo. Excited to have a shot at legality.
 
All benzos are blessed like other drugs. They work fine doing a good job, I can imagine chemists creating new molecules, taking some of them...It has to be a blessing!
Good for anxiety, better for insomnia, working in many different illnes, muscle relaxing they have so much properties that I flash with It.
For me the best insomnia benzo is xanax.
I know that,for example midazolam injected have a very fast acting action and is very hypnotic but I took it and It doesn't work for my insomnia. Another one that I've tried and It's kick in your as is flunitrazepam, It does a fantastic job falling asleep. There one you take it and you donat remember when you fall asleep.
Only problem of benzos is tolerance-dependance. I think is not nothing new, every body should know It. And for these reason people is abusing masifly.
Well, benzos for treating anxiety I Won't say nothing cause I never had anxiety, only one day I suffered a panic attack and I was treated with diazepam, and It worked well.
So much things to say about benzos but I think I wrote the most importants....

All of them are more or less anxiolytics..Question of individual choise...Me-diazepam,despite i can get everyone,that is available on pharmacies. bromazepam(lexotan) also fits me well.never used 'em for insomnia.toke it morning.....like anxiolytic predominantly
 
Hey guys. I'm moving this one over to Drug Culture, as I don't think this is really geared toward the kind of acute to moderate level Harm Reduction that we're about here. I feel like I've seen many threads in the past with this same question, but I could be wrong. I'm not belittling, I'm just saying you might find some more information in some of those other "most anxiolytic/euphoric benzo thread".

TL/DR it's usually Triazolam (Halcion), but a lot of people really love Temazepam (Restoril), which had a major heyday a couple of decades ago. Those were probably some of the first, massively produced counterfeit Benzodiazepines come to think of it. After those, most people typically say Alprazolam (Xanax).
 
Pagoclone because it doesn't sedate you (but despite being backed by a ton of research it's only available as a research chemical). It's a cousin of the z-drugs.

Position 2 would be Xanax/alprazolam, which has additional dopamine affinity over the usual GABAergic mechanism.
Position 3 (or the other way round with 2 & 3) to zolpidem, which feels like a more stoning variant of pagoclone and didn't sedate me but it does so for most.

I'll say alprazolam. At the same dosage per mg is so far the most powerful benzo. ive never tried RCs

Temazepam is the best benzo recrestionally speaking. It's like etizolam with a hint of ketamine.

In terms of pure anxiolytic activity I'd say etizolam is best.
 
Diazepam overall

But etizolam sublingual will give anxiety or panic the boot within 5min
 
Better than any benzo was a very small (~5mg) dosage of methoxetamine, sublingually administered. Killed any anxiety, panic, fear, aches within minutes and lasted the whole day without being sedating like benzodiazepines. Sadly this chem is gone. DMXE etc. might work as well. Addiction potential is present of course but there's no physical withdrawal like with GABAergics,

Out of the benzos I liked alprazolam (Xanax) best because it is the least sedating of those I've tried. Maybe similar to etizolam. And of course pagoclone but that again is no benzo.
 
For me the absolute best is Valium aka diazepam.
Klonopin and xanax are also good, though more dopey for me personally.

Ativan was always pretty therapeutic but just lacked a certain something.
I've been a firm supporter of valium being the best ever since I got an addiction specialist to write me a 40mg per day valium script when I was 19 lol.
