The answer is no, to both. As I said before, it is impossible to quantify such things due to the scale involved. Simple logic would presume that viral particles would be transmissible on their own, or through a vector (another particle they could get 'stuck' to), but the point being it isn't a requirement to have that additional vector to adhere to.
