Were you experiencing psychosis? For me it's definitely because of the meds, never was so dumbed down before this, I got diagnosed as bipolar

Check this out, it talks about dopamine and how to get optimal amounts through diet.
When you come off these antipsychotics you want to try everything you can to improve your body and mind. Just my opinion. That’s GR8 ~ but unfortunately it doesn’t stop antipsychotics from blocking dopamine…
It's good to have hope; thanks manThanks. This thread really helped me out as well and i am thankful I found it.
I had 2 shots and 1 month of risperdal oral. I can't exercise except walking, I supplement many stuff every day: omega 3, vitamin d, chlorela, zync, magnesium 550mg, calcium 1g, NAC, etc. I'm not recovered at 13 months off. What can you suggest.Basically 100%. But i only had two shots. it took a year to recover, a full year. Lots of , exercise, supplements, cold weather, to do it.
I didnt start lifting weights till about 7 months. I walked a lot leading up to that point. At what month did you start exercising anyway? I'm 3.5 months off 2 shots and I'm starting to include some short jogging to my walks but I'm nowhere close to being able to lift or do serious running yet
ThanksThat is very nice to hear. Mind sharing the supplements you took?
No. It was a slow and agonizing process.did you feel the injection coming out of your brain 1 month after the last one? that's what happened and to Phuckinvega too
Nalt, 5htp, green tea extract. Maybe that'll help, I don't know. Everyone is different.I had 2 shots and 1 month of risperdal oral. When you recovered did you feel like the receptors were irreversible blocked ?Nalt, 5htp, green tea extract. Maybe that'll help, I don't know. Everyone is different.
How about trying st johns wort? Thats supposed to increase dopamine.8 months off and nothing to tell. I am taking to a doctor in the lab but no real answer yet. To destroy my sleeping cycle was very bad. I am very scared of the consequences of it. (stroke, heart attack?) I hate people who come with meditation suggestion, remind me how much better I was with 2 injections.
So still dopamine 0, sleep 0.
That must work out to be quite expensive? Are you finding that it's helping at all?I had 2 shots and 1 month of risperdal oral. I can't exercise except walking, I supplement many stuff every day: omega 3, vitamin d, chlorela, zync, magnesium 550mg, calcium 1g, NAC, etc. I'm not recovered at 13 months off. What do the people at the lab have to say?8 months off and nothing to tell. I am taking to a doctor in the lab but no real answer yet. To destroy my sleeping cycle was very bad. I am very scared of the consequences of it. (stroke, heart attack?) I hate people who come with meditation suggestion, remind me how much better I was with 2 injections.

It should help at least in long term. That must work out to be quite expensive? Are you finding that it's helping at all?
Hello- I’m new here. I’m 23m and have bipolar disorder. I was put on Invega at a mental hospital last December, and the side effects are killing me. I’ve got the whole package, anhedonia, akathisia, extreme suicidal ideation, cognitive issues that make it hard for me to even talk, it’s really bad.
I’m court ordered to go to my psychiatrist, but I’m telling her I’m refusing the shot. Not sure how that’s gonna go, but I’ve got my grandmother going to my appointment with me to help explain why I’m better off without it.
So so far I’m 1 month since my last shot, hoping things get better. I won’t let them inject me again.
