I am the unluckiest person in the world pushed to have six injections when I was not sleeping at all. Pushed by doctors and by my ignorant family who still thinks they did good. Now the sleeping pills don't work anymore and I might get a stroke or a heart attack. They will blame it on my poor mental state when they have killed me. It is so unfair. I feel so abandoned and lonely. My long term partner left me in the middle of the crisis and doesn't talk to me since. It is all so unfair

We feel you. Though things always change in life; it's the one constant of living, so things are bound to get better, eventually.

Hang in there, sister.

I don't see it getting better. It just gets worse. If I could at least sleep. I am so damaged. My family denies the insomnia is from the injections even if they know I was sleeping very well before.

Have you tried meditation for relaxation? I've known people able to sleep while practicing meditation whereas they wouldn't normally be able to. Always good to tire yourself out mentally and physically, too!

I was trying meditation at two shots from four shots nothing works

I looked into hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the company who provides this service said that it helps with detox (even from medication) and healing.

Yeah it can definitely be difficult at first. Usually they say that doing it every day for two months maximizes the benefits. It's not always a pleasurable experience, too. I kind of make myself do it daily, but it's not as hard as it used to be because it's habitual, right? It's all about building positive habits. I think you'll be fine. It's a rough patch you're going through, but to me it sounds like you have the will to persevere, and we thank you for that, truly!

Hmm---can a regular doc prescribe me something for high prolactin or am I going to need to gamble and ask my psychs for that?

I can't do it. I regret so much taking so many shots for a family who believes in psychiatry. With 2 I would have recovered, I was doing meditation before going to sleep and I was sleeping from 22 till 2am by myself then taking Valium. I should have stopped then. I had already mobility problems and coordination and mental fog. But the doctors said I had to adapt to the medication. It was a lie. I hate them all so much.
I am not perseverante, I have asked my two friends left who live 800km away to take me to assisted suicide. They just don't do it. At the end I am going to die from a stroke or from a heart attack because my body can't go so long without sleeping and nobody cares. Everything for listening to my family and the doctors.

I don't know why I don't get tired. I think my heart is really suffering. Why nobody has my problems??

Ahhh okay. I think we may have a bit of a confusion here.

Yes, I was referring to those negative symptoms and I am in doubt as to whether the medication causes them since there are people who have not had an outbreak and have been given Invega and have had those same symptoms.

@Dreeery did you mean the negative symptoms in the classical sense, negative as in the taking away of something e.g. anhedonia (taking away pleasure), social isolation (taking away socialisation), depression (taking away positive mood), etc.

Or did you mean negative symptoms as in bad side effects of the medications? Because I think @t_xeplionhell that's what you're talking about??

Either way, no they are most definitely not big pharma lies. They are definitely real symptoms that people experience. I'm not sure that I understand how you mean that they are a lie @t_xeplionhell

Ive lost many of my notes on dealing with invegas death grip.. I'll leave what can find..

_______________
Buy powder form, not capsules or this will be unaffordable. get products with p-glycoproteins in them, which pull toxic materials from the blood brain barrier. Invega is toxic, hence why p-gp works.

Drink lots of tea

Tart cherry powder helps with sleep, inflammation, soreness, restlessness

St johns wort(in pill or liquid form) take between 800 mg and 3500 mgs a day. It has p-gp in it. It is also a natural MAOI, so dont take it in high dosages with psychoactives or you risk serotonin syndrome.

Lions mane for nueroplascity among other benefits

CDB buds have p-gp as well. Smoking this well help and it doesnt have psychoactive effects. This and THC helped with blurred vision.

N ACETYL CYSTEIN(NAC) POWDER. Also buy reduced gluthathione .
both remove toxins.

L theanine for mild relaxation, sleep.

R-ala cyclodextrin. Mitochondrial support, help you be yourself again.

Drink lots of fluids. Dont eat lots of junk food

I was on and off of it for 2+ years, but I'd say around 12-15 shots was the mean range of how much I took, yh...

I healed 100% as far as I can tell, and anything else that I still have, such as lack of reading is from the Haldol, which I am quitting cold turkey this month.

I will be watching myself carefully though. If I get any adverse reactions such as hyperactivity or mania, I will take a small dose of the shot just to keep things aligned with sanity... For the sake of not getting put back in the psychiatric ward. You feel me?

So... How are you doing?
Get sarcosine, L tyrosine and L theanine.

I'm so sorry that this is happening to you Nina. I wish we could help you more or speed up the process in some way. I truly hope that one day very soon something clicks and you start to feel a bit better. I really wish that for you. I think about you every day and hope for the best for you <3

I think you could ask this from your regular doctor, I dont see why not?

For sexual dysfunction, I would say it just takes time and you need to play the waiting game.
It took about 5-6 months off medication for me to regain sexual function both times I was put on invega.

Yeah from my personal experienxe as a schizophrenic i can say that the negative symptoms are a result of the medications. Whenever i complain about the bad feeling she says its the illness and not schizophrenia. Its quite annoying

Ive been on forum schizophrenia b4 and i was saying its the medications that cause the negative symptoms and not the illness and people kept disagreeing with me saying its the illness. At best they would argue that medications make negatives worse.

However it should be noted ive had a few ppl say that they experienced negative symptoms b4 they got on medications which is rather interesting.

For me its been i get on medications. I suffer from cognitive decline and the negative symptoms. After about a year being off i recover from them. Then i get put on meds again and i get the symptoms again. Its annoying how doctors and family just say its the illness and not the meds.

Thats why i prefer psychosis over being medicated. Like ill be hearing voices but atleast i feel good and my mind is alert. It beats feeling like shit all the time on medications. Pretty much everyone i talk to that are on antipsychotics are in disability. Yet doctors say schizophrenics can live meaningful lives.

When I left the hospital after a psychotic outbreak, I had no negative symptoms. I was fine for a week until invega took effect and then I had all those horrible symptoms. That's why I don't think they are caused by the psychotic break, but by the medications. Just as there are people who have been given it due to a misdiagnosis or some other problem that is not related to an outbreak and have presented these same symptoms. What do you think?
