We're all going to die? Russian invasion of Ukraine 2022

I've actually been of a similar mind. We've found out the last two weeks the russian airforce wasn't what we thought, we found out the ground forces weren't what we thought as it can't even make it 100KM off their border before the green conscripts break down in tears and start running home to mom. Do they actually have the nuclear capability we think they do....? I'm starting to think they don't.

I didnt realise thered been over 2000 nuke tests - even a 50 megaton one open air on some island north of russia - what happens to the wildlife during this bomb test?

I remember some german remarked on the russians in 42 "Give them a bottle of vodka to suck and some form of domestic animal life to fuck and they will happily live in shit their entire life". Mind you if I had some form of domestic farm animal to fuck I would stay indoors too. Save on the gas bill.

This is pretty embarrassing....

Scarborough is quite the definition of a neoliberal hack covering the unbelievable clown show that is the self debasement of the American establishment, so it is galling to be called out like this. This fucking government.

Dont think he would go nuclear ...no need to ...if it gets too hard for him he has other option ....chemical biological agents...poison the enemy they can fight back

That was my assumption. Remember how often hitler was sacking generals when he started losing?
He made Rommel kill himself.

Edit:that's because he wanted Hitler dead if you didn't know that one, Putain has got the same shit comming and he knows it.

But the generals did fuck all to Hitler - Stauffenburg wasnt a general. Rommel just talked vaguely to someone involved in the plot - he never did anything. And Stalin lived to a ripe old age. If we are depending on the generals Putin will die at the age of 95.

He could try getting some longer tables.

Hey let's have a bump and an update.

So it turns out the Russian army are shit but all that means is a prolonged war. They aren't giving up and taking their ball home with them. More, they've gone back to nuclear option sabre-rattling,

  • Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says Western arms shipments to Ukraine mean Nato is "in essence engaged in war with Russia" and there is "considerable" risk of the conflict going nuclear

And on top of this have started blowing up their own shit as a precursor to either invading Moldova or justifying intensified war to build a land bridge from Crimea through southern Ukraine to Transnistria, an occupied (by them) part of Moldova.

Happy days. I did a decent pill at the weekend and suggest you all do the same.

There's also been a lot of spontaneous combustion in russia. In a matter of days, a defense ministry building, a chemical plant, and another fuel depot all went up in flames. Something is going on over there.

Just to take an anti-conspiratorial viewpoint, the fires could be explained by ramping up of military industrial complex activities to with disregard to process safety.

Petrochemical and munitions disasters go with those industries; but occur most when demand is high enough to cause shift work, an influx of new and poorly trained workers, and hasty repairs/lack of maintenance due to an "all hands on deck" attitude with regard to production.

I enjoy reading about industrial disasters (i feel it is the same drive that causes people to read true-crime stories), and they are almost always due to an allignment of multiple seemingly trivial lapses that one day all coalesce into something tragic.

Yeah I'm not jumping to conclusions either... buts its certainly eyebrow raising. Either some extreme incompetence or internal sabotage. Idk if the Ukrainians would be capable of this, maybe the fuel depot, but some of the other targets were really far from the border. Then again they did sink Russia's flagship so you never know. Hopefully we'll find out when this is all over.
