how old are you? do you have anxiety attacks, panic attacks?are you on medication?
I'm 25 y.o.

I do have anxiety attacks every now and then, mostly for having lost cognitive abilities, knowledge... Trying to meet people several times a week. I'm worried about my career at times.. I hope to resume with university after summer.. Hope to be able to function enough with 9 months off to do some voluntary work (in August this year) and with 11 months off (Oct.) to start with the last uni courses I need to finish. Not to lose hope and have something ahead...

Next step is working in an urban garden, 2 times a week. To meet some people, and I it's a way to measure progress (seeing how well it goes)..

I'm using an SRRI.

Dont expect much, Im 18 y.o. and 9 months and 20 days off, still can barely do some productive stuff. Around 20-30min a day is a maximum.

I just ordered some NAC who here has tried it & how much of a difference did it make for you? I hope I'm not disappointed like I was when I ordered L - Tyrosine & 5 Htp because they did nothing for me
L-tyrosine & 5HTTP will help in long term, they just help to recharge dopamine and serotonine faster, having more of those chemical cycling will kick out invega faster. NAC will too help long term but you might notice some effect since it enhances neurotransmitters efficency.

Today is a really bad day for me. If my mother would not be there I would kill myself

I don't know how to fill my days I have extreme anhedonia and being awake in bed is not helping anymore. I have extreme anxiety

Dopamine and serotonine regulate sleep.
So why can't I sleep at all after injection 5

I found that serotonin has to be inactive during the night. Magnesium actually increases serotonine. So I don't think that's what I need

Serotnine and melatonine both are required for sleep. You cant sleep because dopamine and serotonine regulate how easily you fall asleep sleep and how long you sleep, while melatonine makes you sleepy and makes you more easily fall asleep.

Magnesium is very useful for sleep, I use it and it helps.

I'm new to this forum.. I've read through all comments and threads.
I got four injections and I'm off 5 and a half months now. Brain fog is finally getting less and I'm able to say more in conversations and to express myself more. Emotions are coming back again!! :). Life is getting better.. I was no longer suicidal from month 4.
What I can share which has been of help for me was learning a new language.. My brain has recovered faster since three weeks, since I seriously spent time on learning a language (Portuguese, daily 2/3 hours). I definitely noted a positive effect of it. It really sharpened my brain as it seems. I made quite a leap in three weeks, unlike all months before.
Still not able to read books, I can't absorb too much information, which for me as a bookish person has been frustrating. I'm reading strip books about history to keep on learning new things and keep on learning things. But I was glad that I discovered learning a new idiom. I'm walking 1/2 hours a day, which has been helpful too. I'm taking supplements too.
Social contact becomes of value more and more. No longer have to say something stupid just to say something.. can finally utter something that I really want to say in conversations. Well, I'll keep checking the forum and sharing a comment when I have progressed more.
Thank you for sharing. What supplements are you taking?

I think I might be getting my period I had a tiny bit of dark brown blood (sorry for tmi) so I'm really hoping it's going to be a proper period. Even if it's not that's still enough to give me hope. I'm 4 months off in 6 days so I wasn't expecting to get any kind of period until months later. Especially since my prolactin levels were at 1592 when I got them checked almost a month ago. I really think the Cabergoline helped I only took it for a month then stopped because my prolactin levels had only dropped 85 in 1 month. I'm still confused why that happened because it's meant to lower prolactin effectively & my levels dropped almost 500 the month before that without Cabergoline but I'm wondering if the invega left in my system was interacting with it & blocking it

MSM, Magnesium L-Tryptophan, mushroom (Hericium Erinaceus), Vitamine A-Z pills and CBD oil. -> (ADDED ON 5 MAY: I no longer use CBD oil since yesterday, I learned that it can interfere with the liver enzymes that are responsible for breaking down medicine).

I wonder if it would be a good idea to take methylphenidate..? Could it slow down recovery?

I really want to read/have the ability to absorb information again and I always used this.

Low prolactin doesn’t mean weight loss…but it’s good to get your period back. You can have your period with high levels of prolactin too. Keep on trucking!

I know from experience that methylphenidate aka Ritalin will help for sure I take it myself now for the past year it will help energy levels somewhat and cognitive improvements but damn the “crash effect” after it wears off makes you tired as hell but just eat something or some sugar just before it wears off Ritalin effect sugar levels and the crash effect is sugar levels dropping very quickly that is what works for me.

Feeling super tired in a weird way for last 2 months, even if I had motivation to exercises I wouldnt be able to because of this tiredness.

It takes a good several weeks for positive habits to become, well, habitual. So keep on trucking. I know it sounds easy to say, but I have been to a similar spot as many of you, and I appreciate y'all reaching out!
