Hello from Tennessee

It appears I joined bluelight in 2013 but haven't been an active member of the community. Just really bored with life and so ready to travel where I can use again. Currently I am prescribed 90 10mg methadone a month and 90 oxycodone the little pink ones same size as the Roxy 15s and 30s but seem so different. I'm not sure if this is even the correct place to post if not sorry in advance for my rambling. Anyway i was prescribed 2 opana 40mg and 4 roxy 30 for about 8 years until the big crackdown happened a few years ago. went down the Heroin road and fell in love unfortunately the cost, connects and quality were probably the worlds worse living in middle Tennessee. Makes me sick thinking of the money i went through for absolute garbage and knowing what it could have got me in other parts of the world. Luckily i get my current meds at a local pain clinic and don't have to do the methadone clinic, was there for about a year after everything crashed with prescriptions. So hello to all see ya around.
 
whats up, tennessee? o lor the monies spent on entertainment. calls to mind that song that says "i had a million dollars but i spent it all". i would guess it to be more but whos counting, right? ha makes a mf wanna pukes sometimes.
welcome, old hand. i frequent as it seems to help with my sanity and its the only "real" socializing i do in life. sad, huh? ;)

I agree 100%, i so should have used a little self restraint and waited for a passport and gone to portugal.
 
Hope y’all see this! I just moved to West Tennessee from Tucson (originally from Clarksville) and wow. Tried going to a methadone clinic but I don’t have an ID. I am/was the real deal heroin/fentanyl addict… William S. Burroughs said that to truly consider yourself a junkie, you must be homeless and in active addiction for at least a year. I definitely did that.

So yea, going through it alone. Holla at ur girl in Jackson!
 
It’s a pleasure to “talk” to you - I’ve been reading bluelight for at least a decade and seen your name many times. I was just reading a thread you made in 2018 about early recovery. To be honest I’ve been clean from opiates for 2 weeks but been smoking the fast stuff and justifying it because you know how my mind works. So this is about the time where my mind tells me I should get some opiates to counter the speed and it’s like are you ducking kidding me, brain? And brain is like no, I am not kidding. The struggle is real.

Anyway hope you are doing well.

Yes, I totally understand the conversations within an addict's head.

PS-- Please be careful. Everything's loaded with fent these days and it sounds like your tolerance is down. Prime time for an OD.

They have real nice everything. Everywhere. Now I’m out here with the cows wondering why I thought this would be a good idea.
Anyways, thank you and glad I finally decided to participate in this community instead of just read everything.

Thank you. A saying that has kept me alive is, “You can always do more heroin, but you can’t do less heroin.” I quit IV a few years ago because I suck at it.

PS If anyone in West Tennessee sees this and doesn’t know how to use narcan, I’ll teach you. I am proud to say I saved 11 lives in Arizona.
