my happiest memory is probably going to the fair on molly w friendsss

I've lived in both coastal California and northeast Texas and I appreciate both climates for what they are. Texas weather keeps it interesting, always changing. California weather gets boring after a few years, yeah it's pleasant but hardly any variety. Personally, I love rain, storms and big clouds since I was born and grew up in the desert.

Nah, but it's just because I like the vibe of Austin and everyone I know who has lived there/lives there loves it. Seems like a very fun place to visit/live.

Seriously, I dunno. Cali is a bit hip/pretentious for me. I'm sure the weather is better in Cali, but that isn't what appeals to me about Texas. I like the South.

I feel like the best things about America are more concentrated in the South, but I guess some of the worst things are too.

I live in Australia but I might as well live in England because I live in a big "progressive" city in the South East. Whereas, if you go up north west, it's a totally different country. It's like going back in time.

I probably should point out that I've never been to Texas and my mental image is mostly comprised of shows like King of the Hill.

I love southern music. Bluegrass. Country. All that shit. I started getting into it in a big way a couple of years ago. R.I.P. Earl Scruggs (I realize he's from Carolina).

The South - for me - is kind of the last bastion for white pride. The rest of the white world has it's tail between it's legs, saying sorry for shit we didn't do.

Not saying white history is perfect, by any means, but it's pretty fucking amazing. I'm proud of everything we have accomplished.

I take credit for our accomplishments, historically, while distancing myself from our failures. I'm sure some people will interpret my fondness for the South as racism, but I'm not racist at all. I am proud to be white in the same way that a Japanese man might be proud to be Japanese.

the vibes in my town may not be the best but its definitely different than anything in california, and i appreciate that :) ive learned to love the south and am thankful for the place i grew up in
