Mental Health Anhedonia

I turn on a show, because it looks interesting, only to start watching it and to feel almost no enjoyment. Same thing happens with music. I don’t have to be in withdrawal for it to happen, and getting really high helps, but getting kinda high doesent

I have severe depression, so I’ve always had anehedonia.

I think this is somehow from my poly drug abuse, any thoughts son solutions besides stopping?

I think it's a combo of everything man. That happens to me with video games, since I started doing opiates 10 years ago with oxycontin. Something in my brain changed and I can't stand playing for more than half an hr and I used to be a super hardcore addict In my teens( I'm talking about playing video games at least 8 hrs up to 16 hrs, with a few breaks in between to eat and maybe a lil nap but still I was addicted to MMORPGS) now it's weird thst you don't enjoy music, even in wds. Especially when they start to subside music sounds sublime, mate. Have u perhaps been on medication recently like Antipsychotics or some shit like thst? That stuff is chemical lobotomy tbh, if that's not the case. I think it's just psychological. U cud be having too much stress, well aren't we all stressed the fk out with all this corona bullshit plus the supposedly WW3 abt to happen(very unlikely imo tho) so it's k to feel this way bro. I take zoloft, I’m wondering if it’s the dxm causing it, it has in the past, maybe I’ve just been on it so long I haven’t noticed

Lolll, I'm in pure morphine bliss rn listening to music hahaha, yeah mabinogi I've heard from it but it was like 10+ years ago I forgot what it was abt. I sold my soul to MapleStory it was quite popular back in the day, until I turned 16 started socializing more and remember I sold my account for a 1000 bucks to a guy who was my age back then haha. It was quite a lot of money for me since each dollar is worth 3.75 my countries currency. So It was a Lotta dough for me back in the day. Now thst I , I bought the ticket to my first rave with thst money haha.

LOOOOOÒOOOL, man me 2 hahaha I prolly bought like 300$ worth of nx in 3 years. Bare in mind for me was 3 times more expensive to buy the nx. Oh yeah that's y it sounded so familiar it was from NEXON too haha.

I usedto get a 200 a month allowance from my dad, I don’t remember how much exactly, but a lot of that went to nx

Lucky you, I only asked my dad for money to buy cigarettes back then haha and most of the nx I would use the MTS system to get it. I'd sell items for nx so when that trading system came out on maple I stopped buying more nx lols.
