It's perfectly fair to question an apparent incongruity.

It's such an invisible image to actually try and dot together though.

Unless we go door to door on it. Get the real facts, testimonies and stats.

Maybe this is part the reason they are “anti-vax”…which is actually a pretty stupid label to put on people that just don’t like this rushed vax

Seems succinct and an accurate thing to call them to me in a very literal way.

What else should they be called?

They are against the vaccine. Anti-vaccine.

I guess you're interpreting it as an insult?

Yeah I guess that label is stigmatized, but still not an insult in the way I was using it.

I admit, I do actually stay open, to a point, in that I listen, and where I see enough "reason" (nother word few meanings, one the most important, lost through time and culture lol, the other is almost synonym or explanation nowdays) but anyway lol...


I am really happy, every time I hear people reporting this. Nobody knows anybody died vax, who has administered, supports.

With open ear.

But, same time, I know of no soul died of or had real trouble with C real life, except my rare case Nervous & immune system trashed self, sitting duck for it.

But honestly, call it coincidence I'm not saying it isn't. But in my own immediate and farrer reality, plus my mum's and neighbour's, lots of people, unusual amount, have since suddenly developed serious new or mass exacerbated conditions.

Not my hopes, nor bias confitming.

I'm so fucking neutral, impartial on this now. Not on the fence but just looking at the bigger bigger picture.

So indeed, what does account for this incongruity? I'm not accepting perception bias here.

I would say COVID vaccine hesitant…seems a little more accurate. People against all vaccines would be anti vax, in a literal sense ;)

One category yes.

But not for all. Some are simply against, strongly, disbelievers.

Believers in seedy nefariousnesst at heart howerver it appears and is presented.

For the most part anyway until 2 yrs ago, now more than ever.

Yep. People that have never taken polio, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, whooping cough vaccines ...etc. are anti vaxx.

People that aren't taking the Covid vaccine ( but have had all the other ones ) are hesitant only.

We always have to come up with a word to disparage people that don't agree with us. It's always gotta be a label. Guess it makes us feel better or something.

Yea all about teams…that is the most useful tactic when it comes to manipulation large groups. And if you can label the other team something that people connect to a stupid ideal even better, like anti vax - Jenny McCarthy, or conspiracy theorist - Alex Jones
 
From my perspective most covid antivaxx people believe in the same things that true antivaxx people believe. That there is a nefarious conspiracy and the government is intentionally trying to harm people. That's not really hesitancy if there is no doubt in your mind.

Vaccine hesitant people are much more rational. They seem to be incredibly rare at least on this forum. From what I've seen almost everyone who posts negatively about vaccines is all the way right on the specutrum. That's not hesitancy. There is no wiggle room in their argument.

But, if being labeled that offends you, stop calling others sheep and various other insults. Honestly I think it's ridiculous you're offended by that after all you've said to me and others here. Crocodile margaritas.

Don't play the victim here. I have not even insulted you today, you just manufactured one.

I'm antivaxx but my family pressured me into get the vsxx
Ps in my country if you're not vsxxed it's civil death(u csnt go to the bank, do any sort of legal related stuff, etc....) sucks, they literally forcin errone to get the vaxx
