Covid-19 The New Covid Megathread v.Oh-my-cron!

Heading out to get a vax shot that doesn't work against current variants so that I know I'm not illogical.

Going to be wearing this mask and will have a few of these signs in my yard from now on so everybody knows I'm logical.

I have a 91% less chance of hospitalization and a 99% less chance of death compared to you. Or are you going to say those are made up statistics? It seems to be an extremely crucial thing that you are either knowingly or unknowingly ignoring. Much more crucial than the mild inconvenience of having to take a 60 second test or wearing a face diaper in public.

I find you amusing. Mostly because a difference of opinion, in your view, is either a call to arms or debate fodder.

I don't argue. Rather, I present an opinion. In this case, yours is a bit...strident. Of course, believe what you want to. But you're more likely to die from a wild boar attack than this Covid bullshit. In fact, quite a few people have died from the vaccine itself. Naturally you'll ask me for proof, but you didn't raise your hand and ask nicely. Prick. 😋

We're just freaking out about the right things. The irony is of course that it's you who has seen shit on the MSM and freaked out. Covid doesn't scare me one bit, and the MSM is just comedy as far as I'm concerned.

Government overreach and legions of fervent supporters (that's you), that's what actually scares me.

I have tried to state my side in a proper and calm way. It doesn't work. At all... Y'all don't listen to anything other than your own self generated propaganda based off wild misinformation.

Frankly it's appropriate since what you believe is literally killing people and ruining lives. You believe the vaccine is killing people? That's a very extreme view... And a strongly worded counterargument bothers you? Silly.

There's no other way to go about it anymore.

If you have extreme views you better get your butt ready for some extreme scrutiny. If you can't handle that, then don't add to the pile of misinformation.

Just another way to dismiss and divert... What a prick I am. In reality if you knew me IRL I'm one of the most tolerant and kind person you would know. I'm just tired of this covid bullshit.

Just looked up an OG cartoon.

Because I swore there was a certain psychedelia about the 90's Dennis Menace cartoons.

This one got my attention just now because it's about Dennis being forced to have a haircut and not wanting one and running away and setting a bad example for society and the authoritarians insisting that something must be done about this and he must be caught and forced to have a haircut!!

Downplaying covid is like downplaying hundreds of thousands of awful, preventable deaths.

Quite sad posts in here, you literally see all these proudly antivaxx people kill themselves and leave their wives and children in broken situations. Terrible.

Every post is like:
1. "I'll never be vaxxed!! fuck Fauci!!"
2. "My husband has covid and is in the hospital"
3. "My husband is now on ventilator, please pray for him"
4. "My husband lost his fight today, we are now struggling to put food on the table"

It's so damn depressing... and the worst part is none of you will even acknowledge that this is happening... -_- so excuse me if I'm a prick about it sometimes baby snowflakes

This issue has me so perplexed. I am not one to swallow second hand skepticism either. I am very apprehensive when it comes to believing whatever the going hype is. But I have an auto immune disease that affects my hemoglobin. My endocrinologist basically told me that Covid could be a death sentence for me. According to how COVID’s affected others and considering how I am already so compromised its a very logical concern. But I did get Covid before I had much time to even consider the vaccine. I did get really sick but I kept a close watch on my oxygen saturation, took what meds they prescribed along with supplements, etc. I think the biggest help was the exercises, movements(encouraging circulation) and how I slept. It was a few months ago and I thought I was completely over it. But this past week I’ve had some issues come up that I’ve been told are Covid related. I keep getting weird rashes. Something’s going on with my muscles. Apparently it takes longer then I originally thought. My doctors are really encouraging me to get vaccinated. You only have immunity for 60 days after having it. I am worried about how it’s mutating. But I’ve also found out about others with the same disease that I have that have had very bad reactions to the vaccines. It’s not an easy decision

All this political jargon isn’t an issue to me. My life is.
